Mariusz Klosinski opened preflop to 3,500 from late position, Sebastian Ruthenberg then reraised to 7,200 next to him. Passed back to the Pole who wasted no time in pushing his entire 40,000 stack into the middle.
"Call," said the Team PokerStars Pro, turning over
as Klosinski flipped
.
The board came

just teasing a possible upset but the
turn sealed the deal and the
river was academic.
Ruthenberg has about 160,000 now.
Min-win for small blind William Ross, just now. Amused disappointment would be an accurate description of his reaction, when he raised as the action passed to him. Big blind Kristijonas Andrulis said, "Borderline!" before showing
and passing.
"There's not much I'm folding there," he added. It's true.
Ross flipped up

Ana Marquez is busto, having nursed a short stack so far through the day. In pretty much the same boat, neighbour Sven Reichardt picked up
at the same time as she found
. Caught from the flopped

(although their stack sizes pretty much guarantee this was a preflop shove-call), this hand became her last as the turn and river brought the

15 minutes of breaktime right now - and at the end of every level played today. Can't have the players getting overtired.
Tomi Aalto opened from the small blind to 2,500 and Max Pescatori 3-bet in the big blind but before we could even gauge the size of the bet, Aalto was all-in and the Italian had instantly called.
Aalto:

Pescatori:

The board came

and Pescatori doubled up to a huge 106,000. Aalto is crippled.
Kimon Lehmann fired out 4,000 on the turn of a

board against Darin Kramer and the South African made the call to see a possible action-creating
river.
Lehmann now checked and Kramer quickly set his opponent all-in for his last 28,500, the German tanked for several minutes before finally sighing and making the call.
Kramer looked saddened as he was forced to turn over
and Lehmann was relieved to have made a good call with
.
"Nice call," said McLean Karr as Lehmann doubled to about 70,000.
Jean-Philippe Rohr, Mikhall Shakhnovich and Ishak Noyan have been eliminated from the tournament. The exits are coming very quickly and we're estimating it won't take more than a couple of levels for the top floor to be completely cleared of players.
Despite admittedly being a night owl with little regard for the early part of the day, Arnaud Mattern has made the most of Level 1 so far, keeping his stack in motion and raising it to 40,000. He did check-fold one three-bet flop (

) after calling 7,500 from Alexis Morlet in the cutoff, but got the chips back in a blind on blind confrontation.
The small blind Gert Roland Zumkehr limped, and Mattern raised, bet the flop, bet the turn and shipped the river for 15,000. It was only at this point that Zumkehr folded.
