Taking on a Niner

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Michael Graydon came 24th in the recent EPT Tallinn where he was unlucky to bust with pocket aces to eventual winner Ronny Kaiser's ace-king. Here, he's floating on around 32,000 after maneuvering November Niner Anton Makiievskyi off a hand.

Simon Charrette opened to 525 and was called by Makiievskyi and Graydon. The flop came down {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and the action was checked to Makiievskyi who bet 900. Graydon was the only caller to the {6-Spades} turn where he took over the initiative with a 1,600 bet. Makiievskyi looked confused at the move and let his hand go.
