Having a Panyak Attack

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Well, that's one Maxim Panyak would prefer to forget. Down around 12,000 chips, Panyak three-bet shoved behind Gustav Ekerot's opening raise. Ekerot made the reluctant call with {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, and Panyak's {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} had him well in front in his bid to double.

The {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {9-Spades} flop was no sweat for the aces, but the {J-Spades} turn gave Ekerot two outs to the knockout. Sure enough, the {J-Clubs} landed on the river, and Panyak and his aces have been brutally runner-runnered out of here during this penultimate level of the day.
