Roberto Misclicks, Still Wins

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Roberto Romanello raised to 1,600 from the button before Andrew Teng reraised to 4,200 in the big blind. Roberto declared raised but put out a bet of 5,300 which started to confuse both Teng and the dealer to the point where the floor had to be called.

Romanello was forced to make up a proper minimum four-bet to 6,800 - Teng moved all in and Romanello called.

Romanello: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Teng: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} - Teng was eliminated and Romanello moved above his starting stack.

Roman Empire

Roman Makhlin is up to almost 200,000 after he busted out Evangelos Vrakas in a very cold spot. Vrakas had {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on a {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop but Makhlin showed {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for top set and the board ran out [2h and {3-Spades}.

Can the Russians continue their EPT domination after Andrey Pateychuk won San Remo a few weeks ago?

Shander de Vries Cuddles Up To Roberto Romanello

Shander de Vries has recently been moved to the table of Roberto Romanello and they have quickly got involved in some action.

Romanello raised to 1,600 in the hijack and De Vries called in the cutoff. The flop was {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs} and Romanello bet 2,100 and De Vries called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and once again Romanello bet (4,100) and once again De Vries called. On the river the dealer gave us the {10-Clubs} and Romanello moved all-in for 20,500. De Vries went into the tank but eventually folded and Romanello dragged in a much needed pot.

Zografos Eliminates Vandeborne

Jean Marie Vanderborne and Ilias Zografos just managed to find a way of moving all of their chips into the middle of the table. When it was time for the great reveal, Vandeborne was in excellent shape.

Vandeborne{A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}
Zografos{A-Spades} {J-Spades}

He may have been in great shape pre-flop but all that changed when the dealer turned over the flop of {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {2-Hearts}. Vandeborne was up on his feet and he had already gone by the time the {K-Diamonds} and {7-Spades} finished off the action.

Pheedom of the Seas

Spiro Dimotsantos opened to 1,600 and Kevin MacPhee called as did Michail Manolakis before Konstantinos Karelas moved all in for 24,200.

Dimotsantos folded quickly, MacPhee made the call and Manolakis got out of the way.

MacPhee: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Karelas: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board was {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades} and MacPhee moves over the 100,000 mark.

Smoked Salman

Salman Behbehani
Salman Behbehani

Salman Behbehani was facing an all in bet from McLean Karr on the river of a {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board for his last 20,000 or so and was tanking over making a big call.

Finally he did so and Karr showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}...

Behbehani mucked and giggled, "Hahahaha.....bitch," before leaving while laughing to himself.

Another player asked Karr, "You were value-betting there?"

Karr, "Yes."

It's a Sin

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Mohsin Charania has just had his stack chopped in half after he got a short-stacked Stelios Drosos all in with {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} against {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The board came {5-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} but then the {9-Clubs} on the river had Drosos banging the table in delight.
