Good morning and welcome to the very best coverage of the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final. We are Pokernews and this is Day 3; the money bubble day.
There are 130 players left from an original cast of 665 and 96 of them are going to receive at least €15,000 for their troubles. But everyone will have had least one thought about what they would do if they won the first prize of €1,500,000.
Team PokerStars Pro Max Martinez had a barn-storming finish to Day 2 yesterday when he used his special powers to turn 65,000 into 456,300 chips. Mohsin Charania received the bulk of his chips as a gift from Nick Yunis and Erik Seidel…well he is Erik Seidel. Charania and Seidel starting on 413,500 and 362,200 respectively and all three of them are in with a great chance of going deep in this competition.
Joining Martinez in the hunt for a pay day are fellow Team PokerStars Pros Richard Toth, Nacho Barbero, Matthias De Meulder, Sandra Naujoks, Pius Heinz, Angel Guillen, Marcel Luske and Johnny Lodden. Also keep your eye out for the Griffin "Flush_Entity" Benger (284,100), David "Doc" Sands (281,800), Andrew Badecker (279,200), Chris Brammer (267,400) and the recent €100,000 Super High Roller winner Justin Bonomo (221,900).
The action starts at 12:00 (CET) so go on, brush your teeth and settle down in front of the laptop because it is going to be a great day of poker.

The cards are in the air for Day 3 where we will play down to 24-players with a dinner break at the end of Level 19. For any interested players the tables will break as follows: 26, 25 & then 17.
Anatoly Gurtovoy raised to 7,600 in the cutoff and Annette Obrestad defended her small blind. The flop was and the action went very quickly. Obrestad checked, Gurtovoy bet 15,000 and Obrestad called. On the turn we saw the and again it was a quick tempo as Obrestad tapped the felt before Gurtovoy immediately bet 30,000. For the first time,Obrestad slowed the pace right down, and pondered her decision before calling. Finally we saw the and it was a case of dejavu. Obrestad quickly tapped the felt and Gurtovoy immediately announced, "all-in". If Obrestad called and was wrong - she was out. She thought for a very long time before eventually folding her hand.

Team PokerStars Pro Max Martinez finished as the chip leader last night and has picked up right where he left off today. He just busted Javier Gil Candelas to add some more chips to his mountainous stack and increase his chip lead.
From under the gun, Martinez raised to 6,000 before action folded to Candelas on the button. He reraised all in for 25,800. The blinds folded before Martinez made a quick called. He held the and was crushing all hopes Candelas had with the .
The flop, turn and river ran out and Candelas was eliminated.
