From the cutoff seat, Masa Kagawa raised to 9,000. Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu called from the button and fellow Team Pro Vanessa Selbst reraised to 28,000 from the big blind. Both Kagawa and Negreanu made the call and the flop came down

Mike McDonald raised to 8,000 in the cutoff and when the action folded around to Govert Metaal in the big blind he three-bet to 28,000. McDonald decided to make the call and within no time both players were at the flop.

Metaal bet 36,000, McDonald bet 77,500, Metaal moved all-in for 134,500 and McDonald called. When the hands were overturned Metaal was ahead but could still be eliminated from the competition.
