We've just been told that so far 640 players are registered for Day 1b, selling out the tournament, and there is still a waiting list. A few players, including Michael Mizrachi and JP Kelly, waited until the last minute to try and get in, so they are now alternates.

turn, Sidorenko called, and the

An early-position player raised to 375 and received a call from Ondrej Vinklarek in middle position. Season IX World Poker Tour Player of the Year Andy Frankenberger then put in a three-bet to 1,100, which proved enough to win the pot as both his opponents folded.
It wasn't much of a hand, but it gave us an excuse to let you know that Frankenberger is already up to 41,000.

Team Pro Christophe De Meulder opened for 375 from early position and was called by a middle-position player. The button then came along for the ride, both blinds folded, and the flop fell

De Meulder wasted little time in betting 375, only the button called, and the dealer burned and turned the 
. This time both players checked, and then De Meulder checked the 
river. The button took the opportunity to fire out 1,500, and it did the trick as the Belgian pro folded his hand.
Despite losing that hand, De Meulder is still up over the starting stack with 36,000.
