Kelly Feeling Flush

JP Kelly has got off to a great start here on Day 3 after doubling up on one of the first hands played. We joined the action on a board reading {3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and with Kelly in the small blind facing a 36,000 bet from Andrey Zaichenko who was in the cutoff. Kelly check-raised all in for what turned out to be 122,000 and Zaichenko made the call.

Kelly flipped over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for the nut flush and his Russian opponent sent his cards back to the dealer and 122,000 chips to Kelly.

Team Pro Marquez Eliminated

Ana Marquez (Day 2)
Ana Marquez (Day 2)

Team PokerStars Pro Ana Marquez was seated on the feature table, but was just eliminated by August Schlegl.

Marquez moved the last of her chips in before Schlegl reshoved all in. Marquez held the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and was dominating the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for Schlegl.

The flop contained an ace and the board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} to eliminate Marquez from the tournament.

Cibak's Fours Take Down Pot

Thomas Cibak saw the action fold around to him on the button and he decided his {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs} was worthy of an opening raise to 10,000. The small blind folded but Jon Collado asked how many chips Cibak had behind then called when that information was given to him — around 200,000 was the answer.

The dealer fanned out the {5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Collado check-called a 15,000 bet from his opponent, prompting the dealer to deal the {7-Hearts} turn. Collado checked again and Cibak bet just 18,500 which seemed to puzzle Collado because he took much longer to call than he did on the flop. But he did call. The river was the {3-Hearts} Collado checked and Cibak gave up and checked behind.

When Collado saw Cibak's holding he mucked, saying "It's good." First blood to Cibak.

Tolokno Fushed Down the Pan

Konstantin Tolokno came back to day with an average stack, but now he has no stack. It was William Thorson who landed the final blow.

The Swede opened to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by Tolokno on the button en route to a {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop. Thorson continued for 14,500 and Tolokno called to the {5-Hearts} turn.

Thorson fired again for 20,500 and and Tolokno moved all-in after pausing for a moment's though. Call.

Tolokno : {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for top pair and nut flush draw.
Thorson: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a ready made flush.

The river came {8-Diamonds} and Thorson took the pot and the scalp.

Talbot Doubles Up

Parker Talbot has a little more breathing room after doubling up through Kasper Kjeldsen.

Talbot was seated on the button and was all in for 99,500 holding {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} whilst Kjeldsen had made the call in the small blind with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The board ran out {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and with that Talbot climbs past 200,000 chips and Kjeldsen finds himself below the 200,000 mark.

Wigg Loses Big Flip

Will Molson
Will Molson

Anton Wigg's day had not started like yesterday's ended. He just a 370k flip to Tim Bettingen to drop back to 560,000 chips.

The Swede's 10,000 open was called by fellow Swede Martin Jacobson before Bettingen squeezed to 28,500. Wigg responded by four-betting to 81,500 calling when Bettingen shoved for 183,500. Jacobson folded in between.

Wigg: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Bettingen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to pair Bettingen's ace. Wigg politely tapped the table in acknowledgement.
