Katchalov Waits Until the River To Fire

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

From the cutoff seat, Philipp Gruissem raised to 500. The button called, then Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov called from the small blind. The dealer then ran out the {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, and all three players checked.

On the turn, the {7-Diamonds} was added to pair the board. Again, action checked around. Then on the river, the {8-Spades} fell. Katchalov tossed out 1,000, which was followed quickly by two folds, and he won the pot.
