Avdylaj Busts

Negjdel Avdylaj
Negjdel Avdylaj

Negjdel Avdylaj raised to 200,000 from the button before the flop and Jason Lavallee three-bet to 340,000 from the small blind. Micah Raskin folded his big blind and Avdylaj four-bet all in. Lavallee called and flipped pocket kings.

Showdown:
Avdylaj: {J-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Lavallee: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}

Avdylaj was in a bad shape and needed to hit the board to keep his tournament hopes alive. Unfortunately for him, the {2-Spades} {K-Clubs} {2-Spades} flop gave Lavallee a full house. The {5-Spades} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river made no difference and Avdylaj hit the rail. He will collect €23,000 for the 22nd place finish.

Tompkins Eliminates Cefalu

Giuseppe Cefalu
Giuseppe Cefalu

Jason Tompkins began the action with a raise to 60,000 from under the gun plus one. Michael Benvenuti called from the next seat over and it folded around to Giuseppe Cefalu who moved all in for his last 671,000 from the big blind. Tompkins wasted little time moving all in over the top and Benvenuti got out of the way.

Tompkins: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Cefalu: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Cefalu was behind and in need of some help from the community cards. Unfortunately for Cefalu, the board fell {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Tompkins' tens were able to hold. He's now sitting at about 1.55 million.

Timoshenko Taken Out

Yevgeniy Timoshenko
Yevgeniy Timoshenko

Yevgeniy Timoshenko had already pushed twice that we had seen before he was called the third time his stack was pushed towards the middle.

He did so from the cut-off for around 500,000 and Ismael Bojang, sat in the next seat, also moved all in. The players in the blinds folded and the cards were on their backs.

Timoshenko: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Bojang: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran {j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to make Bojang a straight. A lot of the remaining players will be glad to see the back of the extremely talented Timoshenko.

Lacay Wins a Monster Pot Off Tompkins

Ludovic Lacay
Ludovic Lacay

Jason Tompkins three-bet to 169,000 from the big blind before the flop and Ludovic Lacay called from the cut-off seat. The flop came {3-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and Tompkins fired another 148,000. Lacay made the call and both players saw the {10-Hearts} come on the turn.

Tompkins checked and so did Lacay. Dealer burned and turned the {Q-Diamonds} on the river. Tompkins lead for 244,000 and Lacay answered this with a raise, pushing in three big piles of T5,000 chips and one yellow pile of T25,000 chips for a total of 600,000.

It was a tough decision for Tompkins to make and he thought about it for a couple of minutes. Tompkins finally made the call, but it turned out to be a bad one as Lacay flipped {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for a straight. Tompkins folded and saw Lacay collect the massive pot of 1.5 million.
