Team PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri will not be adding EPT Campione Champion to his CV as he has just busted at the hands of Irene Baroni.
We missed the preflop action but Minieri was in the cutoff off and Baroni on the button with Minieri all in and at risk of elimination. Minieri had the sad looking in front of him and they were in pretty awful shape against Baroni's .
The flop gave Minieri some hope but the turn and river took that hope away and he is now heading for the sidelines.
It won't get much more painful than this, Jackson Genovesi was holding on a board but found the case king had hit the flop because Simon Hanninger was holding for second set. The latter is up to 43,000 as a result.
David Vamplew is up to about 82,000 after he raised from the button and barreled every street on a board for bets of 1,025, 2,175 and 4,475. The small blind was the player who called the raise and refused to let go of the hand until the end but Vamplew showed for the turned straight to pick up the pot.
Nicola Grieco had set Ivan Todorovic all in on an board, the latter calling off his stack with but finding he had been outdrawn by Grieco's which held when no king came on the turn and river. Grieco has about 80,000 now.
The action folded all the way around to Chris Moorman in the hijack seat and he peeled back his cards, liked what he saw and made it 750 to play. His only customer was Emanuele Di Domenico on the button who called the Brit's raise.
Flop: - Moorman lead with a bet of 1,250 and his opponent stuck around and made the call.
Turn: - Moorman lead into his opponent again, making it 3,000 to play but he did not take long to fold once Di Domenico moved all in on him.
Fabrice Soulier has been high up on the Global Poker Index ever since its introduction and he's showing his standing's worth here by building a big stack.
He opened to 700 from mid position and was called by Alessandro Montagna before Patrick Renkers three-bet to 2,400 from the button. Both players called to see the flop where all three players checked. All three players did the same on the turn before Soulier bet 3,100 on the river. Both players folded.
Mathew Frankland's tournament has come to an abrupt end despite getting his chips in as a massive favourite with versus . In his own words, "it went brick, brick, brick, brick, queen on the river. I'm off to eat"
Yeah that'll bust you from an EPT, unlucky Franky. See you in Berlin.
