Finger Tank-Folds River; Left With 30,400 Chips

Reigning EPT Prague Champion Martin Finger has slipped to less than half the average stack after a clash with El Khazen Youssef did not go to plan.

The board read {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Finger had bet 11,000 from the big blind seat and saw his bet raised all-in for 31,700 in total by Youssef, whi was seated three to Finger's left.

Finger went into the tank for over two minutes before reluctantly folding his hand. The young German has a workable stack but he will need to add to it sooner rather than later if he wants another deep run in the Czech Republic.

Too Much Salter Is Gross

"Seat open, Table 5," we heard a dealer shout from along the wall. We made out way over just in time to discover Jack Salter had been eliminated at the hands of Michael Gross.

We're not sure when the money went in, but Salter held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} on a board reading {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} while Gross had {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for a Broadway straight. Salter proceeded to walk around the table to shake hands with his vanquisher. "Good luck," he said before taking his leave.

Ladouceur Gets Caught Bluffing

Samuli Johannes Sipila opened to 2,500 from middle position, and the action folded to Marc-Andre Ladouceur, who defended his big blind. The flop fell {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, and both players checked.

The turn was the {9-Spades}, Ladouceur led out for 3,400, and Sipila called.

The river was the {5-Diamonds}, and Laduceur led out again - this time for 10,500. Sipila instantly called, and Ladouceur tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} for king-high.

Sipila flipped over {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, and won the pot.

Debabeche Debates his Decision

The board was {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and there was about 50,000 in the pot. Ahmed Debabeche checked, and Alex Goulder moved all in for 30,200.

Debabeche sunk deep into the tank. He actually thought for so long that a player at the table called the clock. A floor person promptly arrived at the table, and gave Debabeche his one-minute warning. Around 50 seconds later, the Frenchman made the call.

Goulder turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens, and Debabeche immediately mucked.

Farewell Frankie

Mathew Frankland has just been eliminated; he got six big blinds into the middle holding {J-}{7-} and lost to {K-}{6-}. Frankland is apparently jumping straight into the €2k side event that is due to take place in around 25 minutes time.
