Easy Come, Easy Go

Warrington has lots of these
Warrington has lots of these

Ben Warrington and Johnny Lodden have swapped places in the standings after a huge cooler pot.

The action folded to Warrington on the button and he opened to 35,000. Lodden was in the next seat and three-bet to 68,000. The Brit called to the {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop where he faced a 65,000 c-bet from The Team PokerStars Pro.

Warrington raised this up to 130,000 before Lodden three-bet to 215,000. The action wasn't over though as Warrington made it 360,000 to play and then he snapped off for 1,180,000 when Lodden tank-shoved.

Lodden: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for an over pair.
Warrington: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top set.

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Lodden had to start over again now.

The Last German Is Down

Martin Mulsow
Martin Mulsow

We just lost the last German remaining in the field, Martin Mulsow.

It happened when action folded around to Mulsow in the small blind and he moved all in for approximately 300,000. Andreas Berggren looked down at his cards in the big blind and simply said, "Call."

Showdown
Mulsow: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}
Berggren: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Mulsow held an ace but his kicker was dominated by that of Berggren. The board ran out an uneventful {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and just like that Mulsow's 2012 PokerStars.net EPT Prague Main Event came to an end.

Warrington Doubles Through Petrov

Action folded around to Mikhail Petrov in the cutoff and he raised to 35,000, which Ben Warrington quickly three-bet to 79,000 from the button. In the hand right before, Warrington had also three-bet Petrov, so perhaps the latter had had enough. "All in," he said.

"Call," was the response. Warrington committed for 605,000 total and it was off to the races.

Showdown
Petrov: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Warrington: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Petrov was ahead, but not after the flop came down {5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Warrington had spiked an ace to take the lead and keep his tournament hopes alive. Neither the {7-Clubs} turn nor {K-Clubs} river would help Petrov, though he did improve Warrington to the nut flush, and he saw more than half his chips disappear.

Arrivederci Donnini

Nicholas Galtos was all in and at risk preflop holding {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, which dominated the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of Danilo Donnini. The board ran out {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, and Galtos doubled.

A few hands later, after an open to 32,000 from Jose Manuel Nadal Sordo, the Italian moved all in for his last 85,000 or so. The action folded back to Sordo, who called.

Sordo: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Donnini: {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The board came {8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and Donnini was eliminated.

Driscoll Knocked Out By Cold Deck

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jonathan Driscoll has just been eliminated thanks to an ice-cold deck. The chips went flying into the middle, Driscoll committing his stack with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and finding himself up against the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} of Jeff Sarwer.

"Cold deck," said Driscoll as the ealer got to work fanning out the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} flop.

"Running sevens," half-joked Driscoll as the dealer burned a card, but his wishes weren't answered as the [4] turn left him drawing dead. The {2-Diamonds} completed the hand and Driscoll was eliminated.

Forever the gentleman, Driscoll shook the hands of each of the players on his former table, wished them well and left the tournament area. As he did Luca Giovannone claimed to have folded ace-queen!

Here Comes Johnny!

Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden

Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden is not famous for outbursts of emotion but even he gave a little fist-pump when he scooped in the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Radu Cantoiu opened the pot with a mid position raise that was called by Lodden on the button and Mark Herm in the big blind.

The flop fanned {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Cantoiu continued for 100,000. Lodden bumped this up to 200,000 before Herm three-bet to 700,000. Cantoiu tanked for an age and folded (kings he later showed) but Lodden snap moved all in. Call!

LoddenL {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight.
Herm: {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for top two pair.

The board ran out {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Ace-High Good For Sarwer?

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jeff Sarwer opened to 35,000 from late position and Dany Parlafes called next to act.

It was heads-up to the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop, both players checking its arrival. The {5-Spades} on the turn prompted Sarwer to lead out with a bet of 33,000 and Parlafes called.

Sarwer went back to checking when the {5-Diamonds} landed on the turn, but then called when Parlafes bet 62,000.

"Ace-high is good," said Parlafes before letting out a sigh and mucking his hand. Did Sarwer have ace-high? We do not know because he mucked his hand too.
