Reinkemeier vs. Kurganov

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tobias Reinkemeier, who finished runner-up last week in the EPT10 London £50,000 Super High Roller, opened for 4,000 and cleared the field all the way to his friend Igor Kurganov, who defended from the big blind.

Kurganov proceeded to check-call a bet of 5,000 on the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and then checked for a second time on the {4-Diamonds}. Reinkemeier kept the pressure on with a bet of 10,500, and it was enough to get the job done as Kurganov released his hand.

Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Jean-Noel Thorel had opened to 4,500 preflop before Martin Jacobson moved all in for 40,000 behind him. Thorel tanked for a couple of minutes before making the call.

Jacobson: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Thorel: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came {Q-Spades}{K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} as Jacobson turned a full house to survive.

Guillen Doubles Through Seidel

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On a {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, Erik Seidel had bet 5,000 only for Angel Guillen to check-raise all in for 35,100. Seidel made the call with {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} but needed to spike against the Team PokerStars Pro's {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The {6-Diamonds} turn did not change anything and neither did the {2-Diamonds} on the river.

Guillen jumps up to 80,000.

Astedt-y Start

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Ole Schemion had opened preflop before Niklas Astedt moved all in from the button. Joe Kuether then reraised all in from the big blind and Schemion folded {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} face up.

Astedt: {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Kuether: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} was a pretty good start for the Swede, the {9-Spades} on the turn even better. The {2-Spades} river saw a wry smile appear on Schemion's face as an expressionless Kuether passed across his chips.
