More For Kabrhel

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The board read {6-Clubs}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Martin Kabrhel fired 26,500. Ronny Voth called and AP Phahurat folded.

Fifth street brought the {7-Hearts} and Kabrhel cut out a sizable bet of 72,500. Voth went into the tank for almost ninety seconds before plopping out calling chips. Kabrhel turned up {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and Voth mucked his hand.

Full chip counts for the entire field will be coming soon.

Ladouceur Leaves

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

A short-stacked Marc-Andre Ladouceur moved all in for his last 45,000 from under the gun plus one. It folded to Chris Brammer in the small blind who thought for a bit before callin.

Ladouceur: {A-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Brammer: {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Ladouceur was out in the lead on the flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and it was looking promising. Brammer picked up a few more outs after the {3-Diamonds} hit the turn. Unfortunately for Ladouceur, the {5-Clubs} smacked down on fifth street and gave Brammer the wheel to send him to the rail.

Phahurat Firing

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

AP Phahurat opened to 10,000, Joni Jouhkimainen called on his left, and the rest of the players folded behind.

The flop fell {2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Phahurat led out for 12,500, and Jouhkimainen made the call.

The turn was the {j-Hearts}, Phahurat led out again - this time for 25,500 - and again, Jouhkimainen called.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board, and Phahurat emptied the chamber, firing 62,000. Jouhkimainen tanked for quite some time, then finally made the call. Phahurat showed {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a pair of twos, while Jouhkimainen had that beat for {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens.

Straight Flush > Full House

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Kamal Choraria moved all in on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} holding {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and he was called by Gautam Sabharwal, holding {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds}, giving Sabharwal a straight flush, and the {q-Hearts} completed the board, giving Choraria a meaningly full house and a little bit of a needle.

High Roller Shark Kurganov Doubles

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Max Lykov opened to 10,000 in middle position, Aaron Lim called on the button, and Igor Kurganov defended out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Kurganov checked, and Lykov fired 13,500. Lim called, Kurganov check-raised to 75,000, and Lykov re-raised to 106,500. Lim got out of the way, and Kurganov moved all in for 312,000.

The Team Pro tanked for quite some time, then called.

Kurganov: {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Lykov: {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The turn and river came {q-Clubs}, {7-Diamonds} respectively, and Kurganov doubled. His good buddy Philipp Gruissem was behind him when the {7-Diamonds} completed the board, and clapped Kurganov on the back. Kurganov gave a hearty fist pump.

Lykov took a big hit, but is still strong with 345,000 chips.

Ten Plays?

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

When we arrived at the table, David Peters had a three-bet of 18,500 sitting in front of him. Gautam Sabharwal four-bet to 36,000 out of position, and Peters called.

The flop came {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, Sabharwal led out for 42,000, and Peters called.

Both players checked when the {6-Hearts} completed the board, and Sabharwal showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for ace-high. Peters held his cards for an extra five seconds or so, then released them.

Ktorza Doubles Through Ruzicka

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We arrived at the table to find Philippe Ktorza all in for his last 201,000 before the flop. Fortunately for Ktorza, he was holding {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. At the other end of the table, Vojtech Ruzicka was shaking his head with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} sitting in front of him on the felt.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the {k-Clubs} followed on the turn. Ruzicka was looking for yet another king on the river but did not receive it. The board finished off with the {2-Hearts} and Ktorza was able to double up.

Ktorza now has about 415,000 while Ruzicka has fallen to 150,000.

Lim and Lykov Clash

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On a board of {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, Aaron Lim led out for 17,500. Max Lykov flat called to see fifth street.

The board completed with the {7-Hearts} and Lim came out firing again for 31,500. Lykov went into the tank for a bit before finally cutting out a raise to 76,500. Lim flat called and rolled over {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for trip aces. Lykov mucked his cards and Lim scooped up a pot that now puts him into the tournament chip lead.
