Grinder Gunna Grinder

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Michael Mizrachi opened from under the gun, Phillip Mighall called in middle position, and Nicolas Chouity defended from the big blind. The dealer fanned {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, Chouity checked, Mizrachi continued for 2,000, and Mighall raised to 5,000. Chouity folded, Mizrachi re-raised to 8,000, and Mighall folded deuces face up.

Mizrachi laughed heartily, then showed the other two deuces. The Grinder is now up to 140,000 chips.

Kitty Pryde

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

We got to the table to see Youssafi Kahlil and Kitty Kuo looking down at a flop of {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Kahlil moved his last 9,600 all in and Kuo made the call.

Kahlil: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Kuo: {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Kuo was ahead with her pair of eights and stayed that way through the {6-Hearts} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river. Kuo was able to score the elimination, drag in the pot, and boost her stack to about 85,000.

Levy Tries to Reinvent the Wheel

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Adam Levy checked to two-time EPT runner-up Martin Jacobson on a flop of {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and the Swede bet 1,000. Levy called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}, Levy checked again, and Jacobson tossed out 2,700. Levy called.

The man with the ax ({k-Diamonds}) completed the board, Levy checked a third time, and Jacobson opted to check behind. Jacobson quickly showed {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of eights, then mucked when Levy exposed {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the Wheel.

You're Doring Me

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

After a series of bets and raises, Thomas Doring was all in and at risk against an opponent at his table. Doring's {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} dominated the player's {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and Doring held as the board rolled out {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

He now sits with around 45,000 chips.

Wrang Flips for His Tournament Life, Busts

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

EPT Campione champion, Jannick Wrang, had to flip well just now in order to stay alive.

He was down to his last 19,500 which was almost exactly the same as his opponent in the hand, Sergey Prochny. All the chips went in pre flop and the cards were exposed.

Prochny: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Wrang: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to see the Dane's tournament is end.
