There’s a soccer match on tonight which clashes with the finishing time of Day 2 of EPT Berlin. No matter when Thomas Lamatsch is in charge. With the last break cancelled players can get away early. It’s hardly the first time this has happened, although fans of Coventry City shouldn’t get any ideas. Read on at the PokerStars Blog.
We caught up with the action to see a board that read . Liviu-Catalin Toderita led out with a 14,000-chip bet and Irina Batorevich was in the tank, pondering her action.
After a moment, Batorevich decided to stick around to see fifth street. The river was the and Toderita instantly plopped his remaining stack of about 35,000 into the middle without hesitation.
"I call," said Batorevich just as quickly.
She rolled over for a straight. Toderita shot out of his seat and yelped. He slapped on the table and quickly walked over to a friend at an adjacent table, lamenting his situation all the while. Batorevich, on the other hand, remained calm as she quietly stacked up the chips of her fallen opponent. She's now sitting on about 185,000.

He flat called an under the gun 4,800 raise before Theodoros Aidonopoulos three-bet to 13,500. The original raiser called and Ruzicka sensed an opportunity and moved all in for 65,000 with pocket nines. Aidonopoulos only had bullets though and held after making an easy call.

Team Pro Sandra Naujoks won EPT Dortmund back in 2009 for €917,000 and has not cashed in her home country since. Today she made quite the comeback and is sitting on around 90,000 chips now after successfully four-betting preflop just now.
After a raise to 4,200 there was a three-bet to 11,000 and Naujoks four-bet to 25,000 from middle position. All player folded quickly back to the three-bettor who tanked for a bit before kicking in his cards.
If Naujoks cashes in this event it will be her third cash this season after finishing 116th in Deauville and 64th in London. A total of 136 will cash in this event so there's still a long way to go for the German pro.
