Matias Kesanen raised to 60,000 from the hijack after which Calvin Anderson three-bet to 134,000 from the big blind. Kesanen four-bet to 230,000 and that put the pressure back on Anderson. The American tanked for a while before moving all in and Kesanen snap-called. The pot created was worth around two-million chips as both players had almost identical stacks.

The board ran out and the pot was split! Five clubs appeared on the board and Anderson's tournament hopes stayed alive.
It was a very unlucky end for Phillippe Barouk after his aces were cracked.
Yasar Guden opened to 90,000 from the button and was called by Roman Korenev in the small blind before Barouk moved all in for 306,000 from the big blind. Guden folded to leave Aliev to make the call.

The flop brought out and Kesanen bet 66,000 which was only called by Pidun. On the turn the hit and both players checked. The river brought the and Kesanen bet 110,000. Pidun snap-called and Kesanen instantly mucked his cards. This pot went to Pidun and the chip counts on the break will follow shortly.
After the break we witnessed two three-bet preflop in the first three hands. Pascal Vos raised to 80,000 from the cutoff after which Matias Kesanen picked up the pot with a three-bet to 155,000 from the small blind.
