Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

Matias Kesanen raised to 60,000 from the hijack after which Calvin Anderson three-bet to 134,000 from the big blind. Kesanen four-bet to 230,000 and that put the pressure back on Anderson. The American tanked for a while before moving all in and Kesanen snap-called. The pot created was worth around two-million chips as both players had almost identical stacks.

Matias Kesanen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Calvin Anderson: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and the pot was split! Five clubs appeared on the board and Anderson's tournament hopes stayed alive.

Philippe Barouk Eliminated in 16th Place (€33,000)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

It was a very unlucky end for Phillippe Barouk after his aces were cracked.

Yasar Guden opened to 90,000 from the button and was called by Roman Korenev in the small blind before Barouk moved all in for 306,000 from the big blind. Guden folded to leave Aliev to make the call.

Korenev: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Barouk: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The board ran {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} to make the Russian a set on the river.

Barouk leaned over the table and pretended to strangle the dealer but reslly he took his defeat very well.

More For Pidun

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel-Gai Pidun
Daniel-Gai Pidun

Matias Kesanen raised to 60,000 under the gun and Daniel-Gai Pidun called. The action was folded to Dashgyn Aliev who called from the big blind.

The flop brought out {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Kesanen bet 66,000 which was only called by Pidun. On the turn the {6-Clubs} hit and both players checked. The river brought the {J-Spades} and Kesanen bet 110,000. Pidun snap-called and Kesanen instantly mucked his cards. This pot went to Pidun and the chip counts on the break will follow shortly.
