Busto Even Sooner

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Shannon Shorr opened to 800 and Team PokerStars Pro Vicky Coren made it 1,800 behind him. Johan van Til called from the blinds and Shorr folded.

Both players checked the {4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} flop and it was checked to Coren on the {8-Hearts} turn and she bet 3,000. Van Til check-raised to 10,500 and Coren quickly moved all in, the Dutchman doing likewise.

Van Til: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Coren: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs} river changed nothing and Van Til was eliminated but he has rebought and ended up the same seat.

Time for a Chop

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Rachid Ben Cherif opened to 1,500 preflop and was called by Marvin Rettenmaier on the button, Olivier Busquet in the small blind and Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier in the big blind.

It was checked to Ben Cherif on the {J-Spades}{A-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop and he bet 3,500 with Busquet the only caller. The {7-Hearts} on the turn was checked, as was the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Ben Cherif flipped {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a turned two pair but he was going to have to split the pot with the French-Canadian as Busquet turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Greenwood Can't Call

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sam Greenwood checked on a board of {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Kevin MacPhee fired 7,100, and Greenwood made the call.

The river was the {9-Clubs}, Greenwood checked again, and MacPhee moved all in for 18,250. Greenwood begrudgingly folded, and MacPhee picked up the pot.

No Points for Griffin-dor

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Griffin Benger is not a happy bunny. He had Alexander Millar all in and dominated on a {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop.

Benger: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Millar: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The {7-Diamonds} turn didn't change anything but the {Q-Spades} river knocked Griffin down to about 14,000 while Millar was up to 42,000.
