Phoning It In

[user76023] • Level 25: 15,000-30,000, 4,000 ante

Magnus Karlsson has just received a two-hand penalty after he left the table to answer a phone while there were still three players to act before him. Karlsson quietly accepted his penalty with no protest.

Alilovic gets Trappy

[user76023] • Level 25: 15,000-30,000, 4,000 ante

Miroslav Alilovic opened to 67,000 and Sebastian von Toperczer called on the button.

Both players were content to check down the {2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board and Alilovic showed {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts} to win.

Von Toperczer laughed, "Always the same line against me - never works!"

Nikolaev vs. Seilis

Chad_Holloway • Level 25: 15,000-30,000, 4,000 ante

Nikita Nikolaev opened for 60,000 under the gun and Martins Seilis made the call. Both players then checked the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Nikolaev proceeded to bet 65,000 on the {K-Hearts} turn, Seilis called, and the {9-Spades} completed the board on the river. Nikolaev bet again, this time 165,000, and Seilis wasted little time in making the call. Nikolaev tabled the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the flopped nuts, and of course it was good.

Magnus Karlsson opened to 60,000 preflop and Steven Silverman moved all in for 315,000 behind him. Mayu Roca thought for a moment in the blinds before making the call and Karlsson quickly folded.

Silverman: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Roca: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} - not enough aces, jacks or hearts for Silverman and he was knocked in 17th position. There is now a redraw for the final two tables.
