Miroslav Alilovic Eliminated in 11th Place (€83,200)

Miroslav Alilovic - 11th Place

Mirslav Alilovic, the PokerStars.fr TV Stars player won a €25k contract for winning the FPS3 leaderboard, has just been eliminated from the tournament over the course of two back-to-back hands.

In the first, Magnus Karlsson opened for 85,000 from the hijack only to have Alilovic three-bet all in cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and Karlsson called off for 720,000, which was just 30,000 less than Alilovic had.

Alilovic: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Karlsson: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Alilovic had some kicker issues, and they didn't get worked out as the board ran out a dry {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Alilovic began to shake hands with the players, but discovered he had a little left so retook his seat.

In the next hand, Alilovic moved all in from the button for 30,000 and Sebastian von Toperczer called the required 40,000 from the small blind. Vasili Firsau checked his option from the big, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Von Toperczer led out for 50,000, Firsau folded, and the cards were turned up.

von Toperczer: {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Alilovic: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The Frenchman had woken up with a big hand, but that didn't scare von Toperczer.

"I think I'm gonna suck out, sorry," von Toperczer said half jokingly. The {9-Clubs} blanked on the turn. "Good game," he offered Alilovic. It was all in good fun, but it proved a little cruel when the {5-Diamonds} spiked on the river and von Toperczer's prediction came true.

Alilovic shook hands with the entire table, wish them luck, and then took his leave in 11th place.

Roca Consolidates Lead

[user76023] • Level 26: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante

With the board reading {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, Jack Salter had checked and Mayu Roca bet 385,000 into a 430,000 pot. Salter had check-called a bet on the flop before both players checked the turn.

Salter agonized on his spot for around five minutes before finally folding to the Colombian as Roca increased his chip lead again.

Chad_Holloway • Level 26: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante

Miroslav Alilovic opened for 85,000 from the button and Antonio Buonanno defended from the big blind. The latter then check-called a bet of 60,000 on the {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop, which brought about the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Buonanno checked and then folded when Alilovic bet 140,000.

Mayu Roca raised to 80,000 preflop from the hijack and Jack Salter made it 195,000 in the big blind. Roca made the call to see a {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop.

Roca checked and Salter bet 135,000. Roca decided he wasn't going anywhere and made the call to see the {10-Hearts} on the turn.

Roca checked again and Salter bet 190,000. The river was the {J-Hearts} and both players checked. Roca showed {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Salter turned over {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} – the six kicker playing.

Mark Teltscher Eliminated in 12th Place (€69,000)

Mark Teltscher

Former EPT champ Mark Teltscher will not equal the feat Vicky Coren Mitchell did in Sanremo and become a two-time champion. Alas, his run at the EPT10 Grand Final title has come to an end in 12th place.

In his final hand, Teltscher opened big for 450,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself just 100,000 behind. Action folded to Sebastian von Toperczer in the big blind, and he must have liked his cards as he moved all in. Teltscher called off and the cards were tabled.

Teltscher: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
von Toperczer: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Teltscher seemed optimistic all things considered, but his enthusiasm dampened quickly when the {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop delivered von Toperczer a set. The {3-Diamonds} turn left Teltscher drawing dead, and after the {A-Hearts} was put out on the river, he was officially eliminated in 12th place for €69,000.

Slow Going at the Secondary

Chad_Holloway • Level 26: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante

Since coming back from the break, action has been slow at the secondary feature table. However, with the short stacks all located at that table, it's only a matter of time before a big pot brews.

Salter with a Cold Four-Bet

[user76023] • Level 26: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante

Mayu Roca raised to 85,000 preflop, Kenny Hicks made it 190,000 in the cutoff but then Jack Salter four-bet to 330,000 on the button. Roca and Hicks both folded.
