Berglund Busts Paneque on Feature Table

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Marcos Paneque 4-bet shoved with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} on the feature table and was called by the big stack Lukas Berglund holding {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

It didn’t remain a race for very long as the cards ran out {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Berglund added more chips to his huge stack.

Lodden Doubles Back

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We previously saw Johnny Lodden lose a big pot and get reduced to only 100,000 but now he doubled up again. We only caught the action on the {3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} flop but the Team PokerStars Pro was the preflop raiser and Tommaso Briotti had defended his big blind.

The fireworks on the first three community cards included the bet of 5,100 by Lodden, the raise to 14,600 from Briotti and the reraise from Lodden to put 29,000 on the line. Briotti moved all in and Lodden called for 92,900.

Showdown:

Lodden: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Briotti: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {J-Diamonds} turn changed nothing and nor did the {7-Spades} on the river.

Chen And Astarita Bow Out

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Within a mere five minutes we saw the eliminations of Giulio Astarita and Andrew Chen. Astarita shoved his last remaining big blinds with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} only to see Valentino Yasenov Konakchiev call with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The board delivered three hearts and Astarita had the worse flush. It will probably be no consolation though that his opponent busted shortly after.

Andrew Chen was eliminated by Martic Andrija. The Croatian called his all in after preflop action between them with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Chen turned over the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. On the {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop the Croatian told the dealer "Ace please," his wish wasn't granted on {8-Clubs} turn but it was on {A-Spades} river. That was greeted by Martic with a "thank you" towards the dealer.

Sayonara Saia

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Italian PokerStars player Igor Saia got the last of his chips in with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and was called by {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Dan Murariu.

The cards that decided their fate were {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the decision was that Saia’s tournament was over

Lodden Thinks (!&@%&^#!)

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Johnny Lodden opened the button for 4,000 and the small blind three-bet to 11,100. When action was back on Lodden, he four-bet to 25,000. Lodden's opponent shoved all in for 81,100 and Lodden called.

It was a race situation with Lodden holding {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and his opponent {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

The flop gave Lodden's opponent top-two and Lodden wouldn't hit a two outer to come back from behind; {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Lodden is down to about a 100,000.
