Georgios Sotiropoulos finished runner up of the EPT Prague in 2013 and just won his first WSOP bracelet not long ago in Berlin. The Greek made the trip over to Malta like so many other pros and is currently on a table with Thomas Muehloecker. Chip wise the two could not be further apart, as Sotiropoulos needs a double soon and Muehloecker is among the biggest stacks in the field.
David "MissOracle" Yan is back at it with winning many small pots and that led to an increasing stack as of lately. Among the most recent hands was one against Fabrice Soulier where he bet the river for 1,900. Soulier was curious enough to call and then double-checked his cards twice before sending them into the muck. Yan had shown for a busted flush draw but pair of eights on the river and that won the pot.

In what would be his last hand, Johan Guilbert opened for 800 from the hijack and Schemion called from the small blind. Bernhard Haider did the same from the big and three players took a flop of . Two checks saw Guilbert bet 1,600, and both his opponents called.
