Kurganov Wins Monster Pot Off Muehloecker

In his first hand after late registering the tournament, Andrew Chen raised to 1,000 under the gun and received a call from Igor Kurganov. Thomas Muehloecker then three-bet to 3,650 from the cutoff, and action folded back to Chen and Kurganov, who both called.
Two checks on the 
flop saw Muehloecker continued for 3,600, Chen folded, and Kurganov called to see the 
turn. Kurganov check-called another bet, this time 8,200, and then checked for a third time on the 
river. Muehloecker thought for a bit before betting a hefty 21,500, and Kurganov snapped him off.
