Zinno Folds Jacks Before the Flop

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Anthony Zinno raised to 7,000 from the cutoff before getting three-bet by Max Silver in the big blind to 22,000. Zinno decided to four-bet to 46,000 and Silver shoved all in not much later for just over 200,000. Zinno tanked for a bit before open folding his {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

"I give you some money if you show me a worse hand" Zinno said.

"Define worse?" Silver said before mucking his hand not much later.

Zinno said he would have given him €100 and Silver instantly showed his regret.

"That's like 15 of your apps man!" Jason Mercier taunted.

Greenwood Doubles Through McDonald

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

As we arrived Mike McDonald was already counting out chips to hand to Sam Greenwood. The latter told us afterwards what had happened.

Greenwood had opened the cutoff and Mike McDonald called from the big blind. McDonald check called Greenwood's continuation bet on {4-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and lead out on the {Q-Clubs} himself. Greenwood called in position and the {9-Spades} completed the board. McDonald shoved all in and Greenwood called for 101,700 total.

McDonald tabled {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for trips, but had to muck those cards upon seeing Greenwood's {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Kornuth's Bluff Fails; Busts

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

A huge pot of 170,000 chips had emerged with the board reading {K-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Chance Kornuth moved all in for around 160,000 chips. David Peters was covered by a few big blinds and eventually made the call to see Kornuth flash over {J-Spades}{10-Spades} for a busted flush draw while Peters scooped the pot with the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

According to Peters, he three-bet preflop from the button and Kornuth called in the cutoff to check-raise the flop and bet the turn before getting it in. Peters doubled for 155,700 and Kornuth called all in for his last 5,600 the next hand after a raise by Ben Heath. Luuk Gieles and Mohsin Charania both called as well to set up a four-way flop of {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Gieles bet 8,600 and Charania called but both got out of the way once Heath raised to 33,400.

Kornuth: {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Heath: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Both the {4-Hearts} turn and {J-Spades} river blanked and Kornuth left the tournament area, not before saying "nice hand" to Heath though.

Greenwood Eliminates Margereson

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 6,000 from first position and Scott Margereson made the call from the button. Both blinds released and the flop came {3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Greenwood bet 8,500 and Margereson made the call.

The {Q-Spades} hit the turn and Greenwood checked, and called the 15,000 bet Margereson made. With the {4-Hearts} completing the board Greenwood checked again. Margereson shoved all in for 27,800 and Greenwood made the call.

Margereson tabled {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} but that hand was second best as Greenwood showed {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

Bleiker Shoves the River

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Rafael da Silva Moraes raised to 6,000 from the small blind and Felix Bleiker raised to 22,400 with Moraes making the call. On the flop {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Moraes check-called a bet of 21,500 before both players checked through the {Q-Hearts} turn. It was the {4-Hearts} river that triggered a bet worth 48,000 by Moraes and Bleiker then moved all in.

The Brazilian asked the dealer for an exact count and eventually folded once it was determined to be 102,800. Bleiker flashed the {A-Clubs} and raked in the pot.

Tiny Healing for Scott Margereson

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Scott Margereson raised from UTG+1 to 4,800 and Niall Farrell defended in the big blind. The two players both checked the entire board of {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Margereson tabled {j-Spades}{q-Spades} and got a tap on the table from Farrell.

It was the beginning of healing for Margereson who had found himself short recently

Winter Takes from Sammartino

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On the river of a board {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Sean Winter bet for what looked like 19,000 and Dario Sammartino made a big raise to 75,000. Winter eventually called, not without a headache, and his {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} ended up as winning hand with a flush to boost the stack.
