Leathem Left With Nothing

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

"The guy next to me. He has been hitting everything. Flushes and so on. Well okay, this time he had a good hand," Andrew Leathem said while storming out of the tournament area. The Scot had committed his last 6,000 chips with the {A-}{10-} and was called by Georgios Zisimopoulos with pocket queens.

The Greek held up and once again confirmed his ambitions for a big stack at the end of Day 1a. Vladimir Velikov has been eliminated as well. The Bulgarian finished 14th in the UKIPT Dublin Main Event at the RDS a few days ago, but failed to make another deep run.

Raniszewski Left Short

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

The pot was already quite big when Julien Martini moved all in or 13,300 on the river of a board {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. His opponent, Tomasz Raniszewski, eventually called the shove for more than one third of his stack and then flashed worthless pocket aces when Martini revealed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a full house.

Manquant is Missing

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Ricardo Manquant has been eliminated by Kamran Aliyev and the latter jumped to the top of the current leader board.

Chutrov is Fighting

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Daniel Chutrov limped in from the small blind and Rocco Palumbo made it 1,000 to go from the big blind with the Bulgarian coming along. On the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} flop both checked and Chutrov then check-raised the {5-Diamonds} turn from 1,400 to 4,200. Palumbo didn't waste much time before tossing his cards into the muck, yet Chutrov has a long way to go before reaching the starting stack again.

Castelluccio Takes from Magirius

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Sven Magirius opened and then called the three-bet to 2,000 by Sergio Castelluccio before the duo checked the flop {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Magirius check-folded to a delayed continuation bet worth 1,750 and both players are now almost even in chips.

Agerskov Busts Burneikis

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the heads up flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} with around 6,400 chips in the pot, a raising war broke out between Rasmus Agerskov and Vladas Burneikis. The latter had a bet of 11,000 in front of him and then Agerskov shoved to get a call by Burneikis.

Burneikis: {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Agerskov: {5-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {A-Clubs} turn and {K-Clubs} river blanked and the straight for the Dane scooped the nice pot. Senh Ung and Marc Spangenberg have also been sent to the rail as well. Ung's flopped set of jacks was no good against the straight of Darryl Fish, Carmen Ebus was also in with pocket aces and stood no chance either.
