Michalak Builds Up, Baumann Bows Out

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Jakub Michalak has swapped spots in the chip counts with Antoine Saout.

He got it in with the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} versus Saout's {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and held on a {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} run out to double through.

In the meantime, Gaelle Baumann busted from the feature table, running queens into kings for 100,000 chips.

Kisacikoglu Runs Into Aces; Busts

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Raiden Kan got all but a few chips from Orpen Kisacikoglu with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} versus {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on a board of {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the next hand then saw a raise to 17,000 by Patrick Clarke. Alex Difelice shoved for 121,000 from the cutoff and Kisacikoglu called all in for 9,000 whereas Clarke folded.

Kisacikoglu: {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Difelice: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave hope for a miracle but it was all over after the {4-Clubs} turn, making the {6-Hearts} river meaningless.

Another Double for Adams With Jacks

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Adams and Or Hadad got their chips in the middle, with the former at risk but the best hand.

Timothy Adams: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Or Hadad: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Adams doubled yet again with jacks.

Mateos Flushes Koroknai

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Andras Koroknai
Andras Koroknai

Adrian Mateos opened to 16,000 from the button and Andras Koroknai then three-bet to 44,000 from the small blind with the Spaniard coming along. On the flop {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Koroknai continued for 40,000 and was called while both players then checked the {7-Spades} turn.

On the {7-Diamonds} river, Koroknai jammed for 125,000 and Mateos was snap called.

Koroknai: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Mateos: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The former November Niner departed and Mateos moved up to more than average.

Abernethy Busts Right Away

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich was not back in time to defend his big blind and Andrew Abernethy shoved from under the gun for 25,000. Tomas MacNamara called from two seats over and the rest of the table folded.

Abernethy: {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Macnamara: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and that was it for Abernethy.

Wigg and Koroknai Double; Clark Cuts Down Difelice

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The last few minutes of the level brought three interesting hands.

Andras Koroknai doubled up his stack of 115,000 with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} of Frank Williams with the board running out {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Then, Anton Wigg check-raised all in out of the big blind after a flop of {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Tomas MacNamara had made a continuation bet worth 11,000 and reluctantly called.

Wigg: {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
MacNamara: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

Neither the {J-Clubs} turn nor the {5-Hearts} river changed anything and Wigg stayed in.

Last but not least, Alex Difelice tanked for some time on the river of a board {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} when facing a bet of 77,000 by 2014 Irish Open champion Patrick Clarke. Difelice ultimately called and Clarke showed him the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for the jack-high straight.
