MacNamara Gets it Right; Eliminates Lampropulos

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Tomas MacNamara raised pre-flop and was called in two spots including by Maria Lampropulos. MacNamara check-called a bet from Lampropulos on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and both players checked the {4-Spades} on the turn. On the river MacNamara checked and Lampropulos moved all-in for her remaining 83,000.

MacNamara went into the tank and the clock was eventually called on him. With time ticking away he made the call and showed {j-Spades}{q-Spades}, which beat his opponent's {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, and eliminated her from the tournament

Bienvenue La Boissonnire!

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Charles La Boissonnire just took a few key steps up the chip counts by busting Benjamin Winsor.

Winsor got it in with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} versus La Boissonnire's {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and hit the rail after the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} gave La Boissonnire the edge, the bigger pair and the pot.

McDonald Bluffs it All, Departs

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Mike McDonald
Mike McDonald

From the cutoff, Jiachen Gong made it 14,000 to go before Alex Goulder on the button made the call. In the big blind, Mike McDonald squeezed to 48,000 and Gong folded. Goulder asked how much it was, and called.

McDonald made a bet of 45,000 on {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Goulder called. The {10-Diamonds} hit the turn and McDonald paused for a bit, before moving all in for 162,000. Goulder called instantly.

Mike McDonald: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Alex Goulder: {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Just minutes ago, McDonald had doubled up Neuville with ace-king, and unless he hit a queen here, he would part ways with the rest of his chips with the same hand.

The {8-Hearts} completed the board and Goulder and McDonald shook hands, before the latter made his exit.

Lampropulos: {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Wigg: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the Argentinian doubled up, making sure that Ivan Luca has to stay on the rail further to see how she is doing.

Kruk Busts Zinno; Up to a Million

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Kruk raised to 13,000 and Yang Zhang called from the cutoff before Anthony Zinno then squeezed all in for his last 41,000. Kruk reraised to 72,000 and Zhang folded.

Zinno: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Kruk: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

"That's a pretty good spot for you," Kruk said before the flop fell {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Zinno just smiled back, accepting his fate, and the {5-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river blanked to send him to the rail. The American will most likely be back for the 10k High Roller tomorrow, though. Kruk in the meanwhile has become the first player with more than one million in chips.
