Boyaciyan Bounced

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
David Boyaciyan
David Boyaciyan

David Boyaciyan made a standard preflop raise and Kuljinder Sidhu was the only caller.

They both checked the {3-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} flop, but when Boyaciyan checked the {k-Clubs} turn and Sidhu bet 36,000, Boyaciyan pushed all in.

Sidhu made the call with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and was miles ahead of Boyaciyan's {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, holding through the {2-Hearts} river to eliminate him in 22nd place.

Oliveira Out!

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Francisco Oliveira
Francisco Oliveira

Ivan Banic opened to 30,000 and Francisco Oliveira shoved the button for 242,000.

Iliodoros Kamatakis woke up with a hand in the small blind and shoved and after the big blind and Banic let it go, the hands were revealed.

Oliveira: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Kamatakis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

It was a classic race with Oliveira's tournament life on the line and Kamatakis took the lead quickly on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop. He held, making a full house through the {9-Hearts} turn and {9-Diamonds} river, sending Oliveira out 23rd.

Williams Doubles Goulet-Ratelle

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From the hijack, Jean-Philippe Goulet-Ratelle moved in for his last 173,000. Action folded to Frank Williams in the big blind and he made the call.

Jean-Philippe Goulet-Ratelle: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Frank Williams: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Goulet-Ratelle doubled up with his turned pair of jacks.

Banic Doesn't Believe Kamatakis

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From middle position, Iliodoros Kamatakis made it 26,000 to go and big blind Ivan Banic was the sole caller. Both players checked the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and {5-Hearts} turn, only for the {J-Clubs} to complete the board. Banic bet out 35,000 and Kamatakis double checked his cards before raising to 120,000. Banic asked for a count, and tossed in a 25,000 chip to indicate that he was calling. Kamatakis tabled {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and the pot went to Banic with the {J-Spades}{10-Spades}.

MacNamara Doubles Straight Away

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Play resumed and in one of the first few hands, Kuljinder Sidhu opened to 27,000 and Tomas MacNamara three-bet, making it 82,000.

It folded to Iliodoros Kamatakis and he four-bet to 210,000. Sidhu let it go, but MacNamara five-bet shoved for around 450,000.

Kamatakis called off with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, but was well behind MacNamara's {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Kings held on an {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} run out to ensure MacNamara the double up.

Redraw

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There is now a redraw being done, and then a 10-minute break will start. We'll report back to you as soon as possible with the new seating order of the players.

Banic Knocks Out Zhang

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

While the dealers were already asked to complete the hand and then stop dealing, a hand was still going on over on Yang Zhang's table. Action had folded to him and he limped in.

In the big blind, Ivan Banic raised to 36,000 and Zhang made it 108,000 to go with about 300,000 behind. Banic moved all in and Zhang snap called.

Yang Zhang: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Ivan Banic: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} wasn't good for Zhang and he let out a sigh of desperation. The {7-Clubs} on the turn was a blank and Zhang was officially drawing dead. The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Zhang made his exit in 24th place.

Antoine Saout Eliminated

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Christopher Kruk and Antoine Saout got it all in before the flop. Saout had the {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and was up against Kruk's {J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The board ran out {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Saout made his exit.
