Seidel Skips Cooler

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

The legendary Erik Seidel made it 7,000, then avoided big trouble by folding when Oleh Cherepianyi made it 22,800, and Ouri Cohen pushed in for a little more than that behind.

Cherepianyi called with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Cohen had been cooled off with the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}, busting after a board of blanks.

Neumann Doubles

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

After a raise, Matthew Davenport just flat-called and Marko Neumann then squeezed to 24,000 out of the big blind. The initial raiser folded, but Davenport jammed and received a snap-call by the German for his last 74,300.

Neumann: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Davenport: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Nothing changed with a blank board of {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and the German doubled up.

Boghean Backs Into a Flush Versus Sammartino

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On a {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} flop we saw Andrei Boghean bet 6,300 and Dario Sammartino tanked for a long time before making the call.

The turn brought the {J-Spades} and Boghean tanked for a long time before betting 22,300, and Sammartino did some thinking of his own before putting in the call.

On the river the {2-Spades} hit and now both players checked.

Boghean showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a flush, and Sammartino flashed his {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for two pair.

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Marko Neumann raised from early position and was called by Sam Chartier before making a continuation bet on the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. Both then checked the {10-Spades} turn before the {A-Diamonds} river saw Chartier check-raise from 13,500 to 52,000.

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Erwann Pecheux
Erwann Pecheux

Late on Day 2, Erwann Pecheux hit basically everything and skyrocketed his stack into the top 10. Day 3 pretty much starts the same way and he is up to more than half a million, latest victim was Maksim Kolosov.

Pecheux defended in the blinds and check-called a continuation bet on the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Pecheux bet 26,500 and was called by the Russian before making it another 53,500 to go on the {2-Clubs} river.

Kolosov just flat-called and was shown {J-Hearts}{9-Spades} for the turned nuts, flashing his {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the flopped nut straight ... ouch.
