$10,200 Big, Big Baller Gets Underway at Borgata

The debut Big Big Series at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is well and truly off and running, with all eyes now turning to the biggest buy-in event on the schedule. That is of course the aptly named Event 6: $10,200 Big Big Baller, which gets underway at 1:15 p.m. local time.

There’s nothing quite like a high roller to bring out the big names, and those are exactly the players expected to be making an appearance for the event, as the Jersey Shore prepares to host two full days of action-packed big-balling, with a whopping $500,000 guaranteed for the event.

With a starting stack of 30,000, the first day of play offers 12 40-minute levels before players bag up, including a 15-minute break after every three levels, and a 40-minute dinner break following the conclusion of Level 6. Each hopeful is permitted unlimited reentries, and late registration remains open until the start of Day 2.

Those who find a bag in Day 1, or opt to buy directly into Day 2, will take their seats at 12:15 p.m. local time on Friday, September 18. Blind levels remain at 40 minutes apiece through to the conclusion of Day 2, which will occur when a victor has been named.

Hopefuls will be looking to add their names to the list of winners that has already been created here in Atlantic City, with Andrew Chang and Jeffrey Gibson taking down Event 2: $2200 Big, Big Kick Off and Event 3: $2500 E-Tay's Big, Big 9-Game Mix respectively, for top prizes of $182,000 and $56,170.
