Hands #37-38: Small Pots for Bendik and Calamusa

Hand #37: In the hijack Jan Bendik was the first to enter the pot, raising to 175,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Big blind Adrien Allain called with {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Bendik's 200,000 bet on {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} was good enough to take it down ad Allain check folded. Bendik smiled and laughed with one of his friends on the rail.

Hand #38: Button Pierre Calamusa raised to 160,000 with {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Big blind Antoine Saout folded {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the blinds and antes went to Calamusa.

Hand #36: Asan Umarov raised with {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} from the cutoff to 175,000 and Dario Sammartino moved all in for 1,205,000 from the button. Sammartino held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and eventually Umarov called.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Umarov flopped a pair of tens, while Sammartino held a flush draw. The turn brought the {7-Spades} and the river the {K-Hearts}, and Sammartino was sent to the rail.

Hands #33-35: Guerrero Gets More From Bendik

Hand #33: Jimmy Guerrero raised under the gun plus one with {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to 175,000 and Jan Bendik called from the small blind with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The flop brought out {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and both players checked on the flop. The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and agains we saw two checks.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Bendik checked again, and Guerrero bet 275,000 and Bendik called. Guerrero took down the pot with a set, and Bendik dropped some more.

Hand #34: Asan Umarov moved all in with {A-Spades}{6-Hearts} and all other players folded.

Hand #35: Pierre Calamusa raised to 170,000 with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Asan Umarov looked down at {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} on the button. Umarov moved all in for 2,025,000 and Calamusa folded his pair.

Hands #30-32: Sammartino Getting Short

Hand #30: From the hijack, Dario Sammartino raised it up to 160,000 with {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Right next to him Jimmy Guerrero found a real hand with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and just called.

The flop came {4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Sammartino bet 120,000. Guerrero called rather quickly.

The {2-Spades} fell on the turn and Sammartino and Guerrero both checked so the pot remained 760,000. The {6-Clubs} fell on the river and Sammartino bet 245,000. Guerrero let out a big smile before getting back to his more serious look. He eventually called and raked in the sizable pot with ace-high.

Hand #31: Jimmy Guerrero raised to 175,000 with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} from the hijack. Big blind Oren Rosen called with {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The flop came {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and Rosen check folded to Guerrero's 250,000 bet with his second pair.

Hand #32: Dario Sammartino made it 160,000 with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} from early position. Pierre Calamusa in the hijack three-bet to 480,000 with {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Action came back to Sammartino and the Italian High Roller made the call.

{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} on the flop and Sammartino checked. Calamusa made a bet of 375,000 and Sammartino called.

With the pot now 1,910,000, Sammartino checked again. Calamusa asked for a count, and bet 765,000. Sammartino wasn't willing to throw his cards away just yet and called, growing the pot to 3,440,000.

The {9-Diamonds} completed the board and Sammartino checked with 1,370,000 behind. Calamusa checked behind instantly and could start stacking soon enough.

Hands #25-29: Finally One For Allain

Hand #25: Dario Sammartino raised to 170,000 under the gun with {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and he picked up the pot.

Hand #26: Jimmy Guerrero raised under the gun with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} to 170,000 and Dario Sammartino called from the big blind with {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The flop brought out {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades} on which Sammartino checked, and Guerrero bet 185,000.

Sammartino called, and the turn brought the {A-Diamonds}, giving the Italian pro two pair.

Guerrero checked behind and the river brought the {9-Spades}. Sammartino bet 390,000 and Guerrero said, "I got blocker."

"You beat nothing," Sammartino said, and Guerrero folded.

Hand #27: Asan Umarov raised with {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to 175,000 and he picked up the pot.

Hand #28: Dario Sammartino raised with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} from the button and he picked up the pot.

Hand #29: Pierre Calamusa limped with {9-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Adrien Allain checked with {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} in the big blind. The flop brought out {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Calamusa bet 100,000, and Allain called. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Calamusa hit a pair.

Calamusa checked to Allain who bet 275,000 and his opponent folded.

Hands #20-24: Guerrero Flops a Flush With 6-3!

Hand #20: Oren Rosen found {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and made it 170,000. Big blind Pierre Calamusa asked how much his opponent had (2.5 million), and then called with the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Spades} and Calamusa and Rosen both checked. The {4-Spades} fell on the turn and Calamusa checked again. Rosen bet 155,000 into the 460,000 pot, which was enough to take it down as Calamusa folded.

Hand #21: Action folded to small blind Pierre Calamusa and he limped in with {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Adrien Allain checked his {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the flop came {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Both players checked. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn and Calamusa check called Alllain's 100,000 bet. The {8-Hearts} completed the board and Calamusa check called Allain's 325,000 bet now with king-high, but had to leave the pot to his neighbor with his flopped top pair.

Hand #22: On the button, Calamusa limped in with {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Antoine Saout had the dominated {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} in the big blind and checked after tanking a bit. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Saout check folded to Calamusa's 80,000 bet.

Hand #23: Jimmy Guerrero picked up the blinds and antes raising {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to 175,000 from the hijack.

Hand #24: From middle position, Jimmy Guerrero limped in with {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Small blind Oren Rosen completed and Jan Bendik holding {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} checked his option. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, giving Bendik a pair and royal flush draw, while Guerrero flopped the flush.

Both blinds checked and Guerrero bet 100,000. Rosen folded and Bendik check raised to 240,000. Guerrero called. The {10-Spades} on the turn saw Bendik bet 365,000 and Guerrero called.

The {Q-Spades} on the turn saw Bendik check so the pot remained 1,530,000. Guerrero bet 450,000 and Bendik called with his rivered straight. Bendik mucked a bit frustrated, saying "How is this possible?" with a muffled voice.

Hand #15: Jan Bendik raised under the gun with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to 175,000 and he picked up the pot.

Hand #16: Jimmy Guerrero raised to 175,000 under the gun plus two and Jan Bendik called from the big blind. The flop brought out {8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Bendik checked with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to Guerrero who bet 125,000 with {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}. Bendik folded right away, and Guerrero picked up the pot.

Hand #17: Oren Rosen raised from the button with {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} to 175,000 and Jan Bendik made it 465,000 from the small blind with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Eventually Rosen called, and the flop brought out {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} on which Bendik checked.

Rosen checked behind and on the turn the {8-Hearts} hit, giving Rosen a straight. Bendik checked again, and Rosen double-checked his cards before betting 480,000. Bendik thought for 15 seconds and let his hand go.

Hand #18: Pierre Calamusa raised under the gun plus one with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to 160,000 and Dario Sammartino defended his big blind with {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The flop brought out {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Sammartino checked to Calamusa who bet 165,000 and Sammartino folded right away.

Hand #19: Dario Sammartino limped with {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} in the small blind and Jimmy Guerrero checked his option with {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} in the big blind. The flop brought out {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Sammartino picked up the pot after throwing in a bet.

Hand #14: Antoine Saout Doubles Up

Hand #14: Pierre Calamusa found {A-Spades}{5-Hearts} and made it 160,000 to go from the button.

Antoine Saout found {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} in the big blind and pushed all in for 1,005,000. Calamusa asked for a count and called.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, still good for Saout. The {10-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal for Saout and the {9-Clubs} on the river made things official. Double up for the former November Niner.
