Lanuza Got them Moves

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

With the flop reading {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} and 11,000 in the middle, Armando Collado Lanuza suddenly moved all in from the small blind. The stack was counted to be 26,075 and Lanuza, who had been entertaining the table with plenty of banter, then said "I do my moves, I don't need to think."

Theo Jorgensen chimed in and said "well, you can't be outplayed now anymore," which caused laughter from Lanuza and the rest of the table. Ultimately, Ignat folded and showed the {7-Clubs} while a third player in the hand also folded.

Gruissem Doubles Farrell; Then Doubles Himself

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Philipp Gruissem
Philipp Gruissem

Philip Gruissem haven't had the best of days at this High Roller tournament, and just a minute ago he was crippled in a pot against Niall Farrell.

The two of them got it all in preflop in a good, old-fashioned setup, Gruissem with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} from the small blind and Farrell with {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} from the big blind.

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and that left Gruissem with just 6,000 chips, while Farrell was back up to 44,000.

Gruissem didn't hesitate putting the 12 big blinds in the very next hand, and got a call by Simon Mattsson from the big blind.

Philipp Gruissem: {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Simon Mattsson: {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, and secured Gruissem a much needed double to 13,000.

"Yes, my first pot of the day", celebrated a disheartened Gruissem, before stacking his modest stack.

Nanos Sends Stack to Buddiga

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Pratyush Buddiga
Pratyush Buddiga

Pratyush Buddiga raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Konstantinos Nanos three-bet to 2,900 in the cutoff, Buddiga called. On the {J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Buddiga check-called a bet of 1,350 and checked again the {6-Clubs} turn. Nanos bet 6,725 and Buddiga took a long time before check-raising to 16,500. Nanos tanked equally long before shoving for 43,000 and Buddiga snap-called.

Konstantinos Nanos: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Pratyush Buddiga: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The Greek was already drawing dead, making the {10-Hearts} on the river a formality. His facial expression upon showdown spoke for itself, it was a move gone horribly wrong.

Zinno Takes One Down

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Song Hun Lee raised to 1,500 and the cutoff called before Anthony Zinno on the button three-bet to 4,000. Both his opponents called and the flop came {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Action checked to Zinno and he bet 12,000. That proved to be too much for Lee and the cutoff, who both folded. Lee was then moved to another table while Zinno carried on with a below-starting stack.

Pots for Mortensen and Finger

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Morten Mortensen raised to 1,300 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from the cutoff, Dietrich Fast then three-bet to 4,600 on the button. Mortensen checked for the stacks of his two opponents and clicked it up to 12,200 - both Troyanovskiy and Fast released their cards into the muck.

One table over, Martin Finger raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Jason Wheeler three-bet to 3,500 in the small blind. Finger called and the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop saw a continuation bet worth 3,200 by Wheeler. Finger called and the {9-Hearts} came on the turn. Wheeler checked, Finger bet 7,300 and that won the pot without showdown.

Fast, Troyanovskiy and Wheeler are hovering around half the starting stack right now.

Caitlin Hall Breaks the 100k Mark as Well

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Cate Hall
Cate Hall

Caitlin Hall is the newest addition to the 100k club after backdooring into the nut straight against Vladimir Troyanovskiy.

On a board of {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts} Troyanovskiy checked his option to Hall, but couldn't find the fold to the 13,800 chips bet on the river. Hall showed {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the stone cold nuts, and added the pot of more than 55,000 chips to her booming stack.

Troyanovskiy however won't get the chance to win his chips back right away, as he was moved from the table. He still has half a starting stack to his name, though.

Crazy Bedell Spins Up Stack and Busts

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Hand 1

In the first hand back from the break, Przemyslaw Piotrowski limped in from under the gun and Tom-Aksel Bedell called all in for 475 without having checked his cards. Pratyush Buddiga checked in the big blind and the flop came {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

Buddiga bet and Piotrowski folded.

Tom-Aksel Bedell: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Pratyush Buddiga: {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The {6-Spades} turn and {Q-Spades} river didn't change anything and Bedell tripled up.

Hand 2

Bedell shoved blind from under the gun for 1,875 and Michiel Broskij three-bet to 3,700 to get everyone else out of the way.

Tom-Aksel Bedell: {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Michiel Broskij: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The board came {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the Norwegian made trips to double.

Hand 3

Bedell three-bet all in for 5,025 out of the big blind and initial raiser Pratyush Buddiga called.

Tom-Aksel Bedell: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Pratyush Buddiga: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and the flush on the river saved Bedell.

Hand 4

Alexander Ivarsson raised from early position and Bedell this time checked his cards, then shoved for around 11,000 out of the small blind. Ivarsson called!

Tom-Aksel Bedell: {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Alexander Ivarsson: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

This time, the board ran out {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Bedell was eventually sent to the rail.
