Just before the level ended, Roman Korenev on the hijack and Ibrahim Ghassan got into a raising war. The latter ended up all in for his last 46,500 and Korenev looked him up with the slightly inferior pocket pair.

The board ran out and Korenev was cut down to just 10 big blinds for the next level.
With the flop of spread out on the board, Angelo Mancini bet 4,500. It was up to Freek Scholten in first position and the dutchman check raised to 16,000.
It took Mancini a couple of minutes to make the call. The appeared on the turn and Scholten moved all in for 42,000.
Again, Mancini needed several minutes but he called in the end. "Queens", Scholten said as he opened .
His overpair was good against Mancini's for top pair.
The river was the unevenful and Scholten doubled up.
Meanwhile, Mancini was only left with 300 chips and he lost those in the next hand.
His last chips went to Konstantin Kazaev. Mancini had and did pair his king, but Kazaev made a set of sixes.
The board read and Song Hun Lee check-called a 14,400 bet from Dmitry Yurasov. The river was the and Lee leaned over to get a good look on Yurasov's remaining stack.
Apparently satisfied with what he saw, Lee splashed a massive bet of 55,000 into the pot, nearly all of Yurasov's remaining chips. The Russian was taken aback by the bet, but eventually counted out a call.
Lee showed for the rivered two pair, but Yurasov held for bottom set to claim the big pot.
"Nice hand man," said Lee, complimenting his opponent.
Jacqueline Cachia, the "poker mama" of Malta and third on the all-time money list of the island, faces some tough competition at her table with Ismael Bojang, Roberto Romanello, Dan Shak and Ludovic Geilich.
Geilich just raised to 4,000 from early position and then quickly got out of the way when Cachia reraised in the blinds.

On the feature table, Benny Spindler shoved for his last 14,900 from the hijack and the action folded around to Stephen Chidwick in the big blind. He peeked at his cards and then called quickly.

New this season at the European Poker Tour, a €10,000-buy-in Single Reentry Pot-Limit Omaha event. The tournament was organized in Barcelona for the first time, attracting a total of 88 entries. Alex Manzano Ramirez from Chile won that event for €237,500 ($268,988), Steve O'Dwyer finished runner-up for €174,200 ($197,295).
Here in Malta the event is a bit smaller. So far, the tournament has attracted 13 players but late registration is open for a while. Amongst the players are Jorryt van Hoof, Anthony Zinno, Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Sam Greenwood.
