Yachou Must Fold

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Action folded to Francois Billard in the cutoff and he raised to 18,000. His neighbor Farid Yachou on the button three-bet to 4,300 and both blinds folded. Action was back on Billard and he four-bet to 15,100. Yachou called.

The flop came {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Billard bet 15,600. Yachou called.

With the {K-Clubs} hitting the turn, Billard shoved for what appeared to be just over 50,000. Yachou didn't need much time making up his mind as he folded just about right away.

Sergeev Doubles Through Delgado; Gives to Ouellani

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Hand 1

It remained unclear how Vicente Delgado had already squeezed to 20,600, but the Spaniard then faced the shove of Sergey Sergeev for 42,800 and called with the words "I have a five, I have to call" followed by one further single word when he spotted Sergeev's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Delgado only had {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the board of {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} let the Russian double.

Hand 2

One hand later, Sergeev raised to 1,800 and Samy Ouellani three-bet to 4,700 from one seat over. Sergeev called and the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}. Sergeev check-called a bet of 4,500 before the {J-Hearts} turn went check, check. On the {9-Spades} river, Sergeev bet 7,700 and Ouellani called.

"You know what they say, deuces never loses," Sergeev announced and tabled the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Ouellani had that beat with {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and won the pot.

Thi Xoa Nguyen
Thi Xoa Nguyen

Orpen Kisacikoglu in fact doubled up before the break still and just took down a small pot after the players came back from dinner. He opened to 1,800 and picked up two callers in Jakub Michalak in the cutoff and the player on the button.

On the {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop, Kisacikoglu continued for 2,700 and just the button called. On the {Q-Spades} turn, the action went check, check, and Kisacikoglu's bet of 5,700 on the {A-Clubs} river claimed the pot without showdown.

Soon after, Thi Xoa Nguyen was spotted leaving the same table after running out of chips.

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

In a preflop raising war, Oleksii Khoroshenin invested all but his last 75 chips against Pasquale Grimaldi in the small blind and then called all in after a flop of {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Grimaldi turned over {K-Spades}{7-Spades} for top pair, while Khoroshenin had {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The {A-Clubs} turn restored the preflop order and Khoroshenin doubled up his short stack officially after the {6-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Delgado Takes from Hallaert

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

In the previous hand, Kenny Hallaert had fired one barrel against three opponents and a second against the sole remaining caller to claim the pot on the turn.

Right after, Hallaert raised again to 1,400 and just Vicente Delgado in the big blind called. On the {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, Delgado check-called a bet of 2,700 and both players then checked the {5-Hearts} turn. On the {A-Spades} river, Delgado checked and Hallaert bet 5,200.

Delgado check-raised to 30,000 with 15,000 behind and Hallaert preserved his big stack by folding.
