Winsor Can't Pull the Miracle

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Benjamin Winsor shoved from the cutoff over an open to 4,500 from Viktor Ustimov on his right. Ustimov snap-called since he had {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Winsor was utterly crushed with {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} but found some help on the {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop. The {k-Clubs} turn further improved him with a flush draw, causing Ustimov to shake his head. He dodged the outs with the {3-Diamonds} river.

Troyanovskiy Doubles Through Finger

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Zvi Stern opened to 4,500 from early position and Martin Finger three-bet to 14,000 from the hijack. In the cutoff, Vladimir Troyanovskiy cold four-bet shoved for 35,300 and action folded around to Stern. The former November Niner was more fixed on Finger than on Troyanovskiy it seemed, and eventually decided to pass. Finger called.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Martin Finger: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Finger parted ways with a big portion of his chips while Troyanovskiy found new life.

Silvers Gets Two Streets

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Max Silver bet 5,500 on a flop of {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} and got action from Mikita Badziakouski, who defended his big blind. Silver bet 13,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn and got called once again. Both players checked the {k-Hearts}, and Badziakouski opened {7-Clubs}{6-Spades} for third pair on the flop. Silver could beat that: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

"I Had the Ace of Spades"

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} already wide open on the table and the {J-Spades}{10-Spades} in front of Stephen Chidwick (under the gun), it was clear we missed something big. Max Silver shook hands with Chidwick and was getting up, his cards had already been mucked by the dealer.

"What did you have?" we sensitively asked Silver.

"I had the ace of spades and a queen..." Silver answered.
