After the scheduled €25,500 Single-Day High Roller was coming to a close, Steve O'Dwyer asked his fellow high rollers if there was any interest in organizing another edition of the same event the next day. People were interested, and the tournament organization facilitated the event the next day.
The attendance was good for an unscheduled impromptu event, but a lot of the players that might have been interested, were still playing in the Main Event. Some of them asked if it wasn't a better idea to have the event on Friday.
Well, here we are and another €25,500 Single-Day High Roller is in the making. At 2 pm local time (in about 2.5 hours), the third and last €25,500 Single-Day High Roller takes off. After wins for Isaac Haxton and Sam Greenwood, who takes down today's event? PokerNews will, again, be on the floor to provide you with updates from the event.
On a board of , we saw Justin Bonomo bet 28,000 out of the big blind. Isaac Haxton, seated in the hijack, contemplated what to do for a bit before he called.
The fell on the river and Bonomo moved all in. Haxton tanked for a bit before he called for his remaining 44,800.
Bonomo showed and Haxton followed with an apology as he turned over . Bonomo now short, Haxton at 184,000.
On a flop of we saw small blind Daniel Dvoress bet out 6,600. Big blind Sergi Reixach called and saw Dvoress check to him on the -turn. Reixach bet 17,000 and Dvoress called.
The river came the and Dvoress checked again. Reixach slid forward a big tower of 5,000-chips. Upon counting, it turned out to be a bet of 90,000.
Dvoress counted his own stack, 79,700, and tanked for a bit. He eventually tossed in a single 1,000-chip to call. Reixach showed and Dvoress open-mucked his .
Heads-up in a pot between Justin Bonomo (middle position) and Isaac Haxton (button) the flop came . Bonomo checked, and then called the 5,500-bet Haxton put forward. Both checked the on the turn before the completed the board.
Bonomo checked again and Haxton bet a hefty 35,000. Bonomo announced all in and Haxton instantly asked for a count. It turned out to be 50,900. Haxton tanked for a bit before he, reluctantly, folded.
"It just hurts to even watch that," Henrik Hecklen said with a smile.
"I'm just gonna tell myself he had top set," Haxton said.
"Top set? You don't put me on quads, so you folded a ten?" Bonomo quipped.
First to act, Nick Petrangelo shoved all in for 62,000. Small blind Adrian Mateos asked for a count and shoved all in over the top for 82,000. Big blind Ali Reza Fatehi called without much hesitation to put both at risk.

The board hit nobody: and just like that, two players hit the rail.
The tournament clock was paused so the tournament organization could hold a short meeting on what to do.
With just 7 players remaining, the money is getting close but registration is still open, so they might close registration. Mikita Badziakouski, Isaac Haxton and possibly others are still thinking about reentering, and Jack Salter is also hovering around. As soon as a decision is made, we'll let you know.
Just a couple of hands in, Mikita Badziakouski is already back out the door again. He just bought in minutes ago but just lost his stack to Justin Bonomo.
Bonomo opened under the gun for 11,000. Action folded to Badziakouski in the cutoff and he shoved for 81,000. When action got back on Bonomo, he called after receiving a count first.
Action folded to Nick Petrangelo in the small blind and he limped in. Isaac Haxton in the big blind took the free flop by checking.
Petrangelo bet 13,000 on and Haxton called. Haxton called the 28,000 bet his neighbor made on the -turn as well. With the completing the board, Petrangelo shoved for about 50,000 or so. Haxton called rather quickly.
Petrangelo showed and got up from the table after Haxton rolled over .
From under the gun plus one, Justin Bonomo opened for 22,000. His neighbor Alexandros Kolonias shoved for 161,000 and his neighbor over shoved for over 230,000. Action folded back around to Bonomo and he folded.
Alexandros Kolonias:
Jack Salter:
The board ran out and with the backdoor flush, Kolonias doubled.
Salter had just 85,000 left and moved in not much later. Over on the button Ali Reza Fatehi overshoved for 170,000 and both blinds folded.
Jack Salter:
Ali Reza Fatehi:
The board came and just like that, Salter was out.
Isaac Haxton, who won the first edition of this event here this week, shoved all in for 156,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around to Sergi Reixach in the big blind and he called.
Sergi Reixach:
Isaac Haxton:
The flop came , making Reixach the favorite. The on the turn was a blank and so was the on the river.
With that, Isaac Haxton departed and the remaining five players were guaranteed €55,860.
Because Isaac Haxton had just busted and we were still busy writing his bust-out, we missed the beginning of the hand between Jean-Noel Thorel and Ali Reza Fatehi.
What we do know is that the two of them got it in on a flop of . Thorel had the while Fatehi showed .
Thorel asked for a ten but got none. The on the turn and on the river were blanks and Thorel hit the rail.
