Tuna Busts Salter with a Huge Call

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

After a raise by Akin Tuna and a call by Dejuante Alexander, Jack Salter three-bet to 4,500 on the button. Both Tuna and Alexander called and the flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. The action checked to Salter and he continued for 4,800, only Tuna called.

The {3-Clubs} came on the turn and Tuna checked. Salter shoved for 23,600 and Tuna spent almost five minutes in the think tank before calling.

Jack Salter: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Akin Tuna: {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {5-Spades} on the river was a blank and the entire table applauded to the big hero call by Tuna, who knocked out Salter.

Nobody Takes a Stab

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Three players put in 11,000 apiece preflop and saw {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts} hit the felt. Small blind Adrien Allain checked, as did the big blind and cutoff Vladimir Troyanovskiy. Everyone also declined chances to bet on the {j-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river, and the big blind announced ace-king hopefully. It wasn't good, since Allain held {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for the flopped overpair, and Troyanovskiy silently mucked to send the pot to the 2016 EPT Grand Final runner-up.

Levi Sends Kilicsaymaz to the Rail

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Vedat Levi opened to 1,100 from early position and called the shove of short stack Murat Kilicsaymaz in the hijack for total of 7,600.

Murat Kilicsaymaz: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Vedat Levi: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and the pocket pair held strong to win the flip and eliminate Kilicsaymaz.

Milanovic Chases Two Away

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Four players saw a {6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop for 4,500 apiece, and Mario Adinolfi fired 6,000 into the crowd from the big blind. Marjan Milanovic called from middle position, as did Jean-Noel Thorel on the button. Check to Milanovic on the {5-Hearts} turn, and he put in all of his bigger chips: 29,500. Thorel folded after getting the count and Adinolfi wasted no time following suit.

Updated Counts - Kozlov and Papazian Eliminated

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Among the notables to join the rail recently were Martin Kozlov and Alexandru Papazian. The former had around 8,000 left when last spotted and sent those chips over to Steffen Sontheimer. Papazian was all in short with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and failed to improve against the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} of an opponent on a jack-high board.

Nguyen Forces Aldemir to Fold

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Thi Xoa Nguyen raised to 1,200 and picked up one caller before Koray Aldemir three-bet to 4,400 from the cutoff. Both Nguyen and the cold-caller came along to see a flop of {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the action checked to Aldemir. He continued for 4,000 and just Nguyen called, then checked again the {10-Clubs} turn.

Aldemir fired a bet worth 7,500 with 22,500 behind and Nguyen check-raised to 45,000, giving Aldemir only two options going forward. Aldemir gave it some consideration and folded. The same table also features big stack Pascal Lefrancois in the one seat as well.

"I Get Whatever I Ask"

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Martin Kabrhel is once again in a talkative mood and it seems at least temporarily that his rollercoaster ride is over with his stack continuing to rise.

In a recent hand, he opened the action from middle position for 800. Kenny Hallaert called from middle position before a third player shoved all in for more than 8,000. Kabrhel quickly called and Hallaert folded. Kabrhel showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} and his opponent turned over {a-Spades}{q-} and asked the dealer for a king.

To Kabrhel's delight, a king hit the board on the {3-}{k-}{7-} flop at which point his opponent said "Good game" despite still holding a handful of outs. The pot was shipped over to Kabrhel and shared with the dealer, "I like you. I get whatever I ask."

Adinolfi Beating His Chest

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Two players checked to Mario Adinolfi, and he bet 5,300 from the cutoff in a pot of about 14,000 with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} having flopped. Alexandros Kolonias was the only caller, and he checked the {a-Clubs} turn. Adinolfi bet 10,000 this time, and Kolonias folded rather quickly.

Adinolfi rolled over {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and raked in the pot, mocking beating his chest like a gorilla in celebration.

Uspenskiy Doubles One

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

We found the aftermath of an all-in pot between Konstantin Uspenskiy and a short-stacked opponent on a board of {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Uspenskiy had flopped top pair with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but was smashed the whole way by his opponent's {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}. The Russian sent 11,500 across the table and was left without much of a stack.
