Tuna Eliminates Castro

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Guenter Castro put in his last 20,000 or so under the gun, and action folded to Akin Tuna in the big blind. He flicked in some chips and tabled {4-}{4-}. It was a race against {j-Spades}{10-Spades}. Castro flopped tons of outs when {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} arrived but the {6-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river missed him.

"Fun playing with you," he said cheerfully.

Kitai Doubles Through Boivin

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Thomas Boivin opened in the hijack for 13,000, Akin Tuna called, and Davidi Kitai shoved in the big blind for 174,000. Boivin reshipped and isolated.

Thomas Boivin: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Davidi Kitai: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} was a good flop for Kitai. The {7-Spades} gave him a few more cards to dodge but the river was the {4-Hearts}.

More for Dvoress

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened under the gun and Ivan Deyra gave him action in the cutoff. Dvoress bet 15,000 on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop and Deyra called. Both checked the {9-Spades} — Dvoress using an extension — bringing the {a-Hearts}. Dvoress bet 65,000 and was called but his {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} was a winner.

Dvoress Eliminates Schwippert

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Jan Schwippert shoved all in for 150,000 or so from early position, which looked to be a four-bet jam over a three-bet by hijack Daniel Dvoress to 30,000. Dvoress called with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}, dominating Schwippert's {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop brought a straight draw for the trailing Schwippert but a flush draw for Dvoress. The {j-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} river bricked off and Dvoress solidified himself as the leader.

Players are on break for 20 minutes.

Dimov Over Tuna

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Akin Tuna bet 13,000 after two players checked to him on {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and small blind Ognyan Dimov made it 50,000. The third player mucked and Tuna continued to the {a-Hearts} turn. Dimov bet 40,000 and Tuna called. On the {6-Clubs} river, Dimov jammed for about 70,000 and Tuna folded fairly quickly.

Castro Doubles Through Tuna

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Akin Tuna opened in the hijack for 13,000 and called the shove of Guenter Castro, who had 32,500 in the cutoff.

Guenter Castro: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Akin Tuna: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop paired both, and the kings stayed good through the {2-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Kisacikoglu Doesn't Pull Trigger

Orpen Kisacikoglu

Thomas Boivin checked from early position on {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 37,000 from the button. Boivin called and the river was the {a-Spades}. He checked and Kisacikoglu used a time extension before checking back.

Boivin showed {5-}{5-} and his foe couldn't beat it.
