Bakker Leaves Plaza With Chip and a Chair

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Cesar Plaza
Cesar Plaza

Robbie Bakker got it in for 385,000 in late position against Cesar Plaza, who played 390,000 total.

Robbie Bakker: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cesar Plaza: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

It was a crucial coin flip that would decide the fate of one of them, and it turned out be Plaza who would be left with dust: {K-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Plaza remained behind with a single T-5,000 chip and will have to try and spin it up from literally a chip and a chair.

Platinum Pass Winner Rudolf Chips Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mitja Rudolf started Day 2 in the best possible way when he won the Crazy Pineapple Flip Out for a Platinum Pass worth $30,000. Randy Izaak Bakker was also in the final eight of the flip out and had a shot at the Platinum pass but wasn't as lucky as Rudolf.

These two players are now sat next to each other and had a small battle. Rudolf had raised from under the gun and seen Bakker called in the big blind. After they flop had come down {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Bakker decided to check-raise a bet from Rudolf and took down the pot after the former let his hand go.

Both have chipped up over the last few levels and sit on around the 900,000 each.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Farukh Tach started with around 800,000 and was the start-of-day chip leader, but was just spotted exiting the tournament area after losing out with {8-}{8-} against {10-}{10-}

"I was just card dead," he explained, "All of the day. I started with 800k which was like 100 big blinds, but now 800k is only 40 big blinds.

"You have to pick up some cards. It's alright; my goal is the Main Event!"
