Salter Busts Deyra

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Carlo Savinelli has been spotted in the field and Tuomo Niskanen has also built a decent stack to jump up to 2.8 million. That's still short of Jack Salter, though, who just ousted Ivan Deyra in a big pot.

Salter four-bet preflop and jammed a flop of {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} to see Deyra call with the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. Salter only had {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for an open-ended straight draw, but the {A-Hearts} turn improved the Brit to a straight. A blank {7-Spades} on the river couldn't save Deyra and he became the latest casualty.

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The river was revealed to be the {j-Spades} and both players checked for a showdown.

Marian Virlanuta flipped over {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for top pair, and Sergi Escote frustratedly mucked his hand and revealed {k-}{k-}.

Yorane Kerignard: {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Guoliang Wei: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
