Tzakos Eliminated by Chaouki

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Marios Tzakos was all in for 320,000, sixteen blinds, and tabled the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Rachid Chaouki held two overcards in the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and instantly made two pair on the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Spades} flop. The {3-Spades} turn and the {j-Diamonds} river brought no help to Tzakos and he headed to the payout desk.

[Removed:329] Scores a Huge Double-Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Just before the break, [Removed:328] raised to 36,000 from the middle position and was called by Uri Reichenstein in the cutoff, Serafim Kovalevskiy and Jon Gurrutxaga in the blinds.

The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, both Kovalevskiy and Gurrutxaga checked. [Removed:329] continued with a bet of 75,000 which was called by Reichenstein and Gurrutxaga.

The turn brought them the {8-Hearts}, Gurrutxaga checked, [Removed:329] continued with another bet, this time for 140,000 which was enough to make Reichenstein fold. Gurrutxaga contemplated his options and then decided to shove for around 560,000. [Removed:329] considered what to do and then made the call for the 450,000 he had behind.

[Removed:328]: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Jon Gurrutxaga: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

[Removed:329] had turned the straight while also holding a flush and straight flush draw. Gurrutxaga was sitting on a pair of queens, the Broadway draw, and the nut-flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {j-Spades} for [Removed:329] to hold and double up while the rest of the table looked on, stunned in silence.

Barden Cracks Aces

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Carlos Fernandes Lourenco was on the verge of a vital double with the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} as Kevin Barden only revealed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} in the showdown, but that all but changed on the {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. The {4-Diamonds} turn provided some further outs with a gutshot, but aces went down in flames as the blank {k-Spades} river completed the board.
