Aldemir Jumps Out Front After a Big Pot

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Three players saw a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Koray Aldemir got things started with a check from the big blind. Ivan Leow bet 1,700 in the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer raised to 6,000 on the button. Aldemir stuck in a three-bet to 15,700 which got Leow to fold but O'Dwyer still called.

The {2-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Aldemir put together another bet of 9,000. O'Dwyer called and the {4-Hearts} hit the river. Aldemir checked this time after a time bank and O'Dwyer quickly checked it back. Aldemir turned over {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trip deuces and O'Dwyer mucked his cards.

Sinclair Rivers Coren Mitchell

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

Jack Sinclair raised it up from under the gun and picked up a called from Vicky Coren Mitchell in the small blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Coren Mitchell check-called a bet of 1,000 from Sinclair.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and both players checked to the {8-Clubs} on the river. Coren Mitchell tossed in a bet of 2,000 and Sinclair looked her up. Coren Mitchell showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but Sinclair tabled {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a rivered two pair.

"Ahhh," Coren Mitchell grumbled as she was unpleased with the river.

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante
Luc Greenwood
Luc Greenwood

Nick Petrangelo raised it up from the cutoff and was called by Dominik Nitsche on the button and Luc Greenwood in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Petrangelo who continued for 700. Nitsche folded but Greenwood called to see the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Greenwood checked again and Petrangelo fired out a bet of 3,200 this time. Greenwood still called and the {q-Clubs} completed the board. Both players quickly checked and Greenwood turned over {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Petrangelo disappointedly mucked his cards and Greenwood raked in the pot.

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

The action was folded to Sam Grafton on the button who made it 600 to go. Charlie Carrel called from the big blind and the flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Carrel check-called a bet of 1,200 from Grafton and the {q-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Carrel checked again and Grafton sized up with a bet of 5,200. Carrel still called and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Carrel checked for the third time and Grafton dropped in a bet of 11,000. Carrel went into the tank and after his second time bank, the table chatter began.

"I promise this is the last time bank. Test your heart for another 20 seconds," Carrel said. He eventually decided to muck his cards and Grafton collected the pot.

"We need to speed this tournament up. Get that on PokerNews," Grafton said with a laugh.
