Teltscher and Kempe Hit the Rail

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Mark Teltscher
Mark Teltscher

The action folded to Mark Teltscher in the cutoff who shoved all in for his last 22,500. Kristen Bicknell quickly called from the big blind and had Teltscher dominated.

Bicknell tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} against Teltscher's {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The flop of {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} put Bicknell well out front with a pair of aces. The {8-Spades} on the turn gave Teltscher a flush draw but the {6-Diamonds} on the river sealed his fate.

Meanwhile at another table, Dietrich Fast raised from early position and Rainer Kempe jammed all in for 85,000 on his left. The action folded back to Fast who made the call.

Kempe tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and was flipping against the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Fast. The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and despite hitting an ace on the flop, Kempe was way behind Fast's set of tens. The {6-Hearts} on the turn left Kempe drawing dead to the {8-Clubs} on the river.

On a {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} river, Boris Kolev checked to Marton Czuczor who bet 60,000. Kolev called, but mucked when shown {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for a set of fives.

Czuczor was top five in chips at the end of Day 1, and is now back there after losing some chips early on Day 2.

Winter Wins Some More Before the Break

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sean Winter bet 2,500 on a {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} board and Rainer Kempe raised in position to 11,000.

The German had around 40,000 behind and Winter then re-raised all in. Kempe folded. "Nice hand Sean," he said.

Bicknell's Stack Takes a Hit

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Kristen Bicknell

The action folded to Daniel Dvoress on the button who made it 5,000 to go. Kristen Bicknell was in the big blind and announced all in, putting Dvoress to the test for his stack of 60,500. He thought for a moment and then made the call.

Daniel Dvoress: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Kristen Bicknell: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Dvoress took over the best hand with two pair. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Diamonds} on the river did not help Bicknell as she sent over a double up.

Fares and Antonius Eliminated

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

Hassan Fares moved all in for 17,000 from under the gun and Isaac Haxton called in the small blind.

Hassan Fares: {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Isaac Haxton: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board was {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Fares was eliminated.

Meanwhile on a neighbouring table, Patrik Antonius was all in with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and was ahead of the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Koray Aldemir.

That was until a king on the {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop gave Aldemir the lead, and it held on the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} runout to eliminate Antonius.
