Locatelli Eliminated by Pupillo

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

With plenty of chips already in the middle and the turn showing {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Raffaello Locatelli checked in the hijack and Nick Pupillo made it 7,500 to go, which Locatelli called with around as much behind. Locatelli checked blind and Pupillo bet the {7-Hearts} river for 9,000.

Locatelli called all in and Pupillo turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, which resulted in a "damn, you are so good" by Locatelli. He mucked his cards, but as per all in situation rules, the {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} were exposed.

Further notables on the table include [Removed:510], Afshin Taheri and Mazin Khoury.

Vo Takes From Wu

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Yake Wu recovered from the early setback and moved back close to the starting stack, however, he just dropped some chips again. Wu bet the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and called a raise to 4,000 by Ut Tam Vo to see the {3-Hearts} turn. Wu checked and once he faced a bet of 5,000, sent his cards into the muck.

Skopalik and Chobineh Out a Second Time

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Mid-way through the fourth level of the day, two players have busted a second time and won't be allowed to enter anymore. That includes Bahram Chobineh and Robert Skopalik, the latter sent his remaining chips to Oswin Ziegelbecker.

With 5,000 in the middle and the {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} turn showing, Ziegelbecker bet 3,200 and Skopalik raised to 9,000, which Ziegelbecker called. On the {2-Spades} river, Ziegelbecker checked and Skopalik moved all in for the last 10,600. A quick look at the cards by Ziegelbecker followed and he called.

Skopalik rolled over {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Ziegelbecker had a straight with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"Unlucky buddy," Mark Teltscher chimed in. Ibrahim Ghassan is also on the same table and sits behind a hefty stack.

Small Pot Win Against Big Name Opponents for Grieco

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Francesco Grieco was in a hand with High Roller regulars Paul Newey and Sylvain Loosli. The three were facing a {8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop and Grieco and Loosli checked to Newey who made it 1,100 to continue. Both players called and there were still three in when the dealer laid the {9-Diamonds} on the turn.

This time there were checks all round taking them to the river. It fell the {3-Diamonds} and Grieco bet 3,400, which got a speedy fold from Loosli but Newey needed a little longer to decided. When he passed, Grieco showed {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the flush and that pot brings him back to starting stack.

Another notable on that table is Dominykas Karmazinas, who just took on Ghionoiu. Karmazinas check-raised out of the small blind from 700 to 2,600 on the {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and picked up a call. Karmazinas then bet the {j-Diamonds} turn for 5,800 and Ghionoiu folded.
