Jinghan Yan raised to 1,500 from the cutoff, Nick Petrangelo three-bet shoved 16,400 from the small blind, Pete Chen reshoved all in for a little over 60,000 from the big blind, and Yan snap-called to put two players at risk.

Jinghan Yan:

Pre-dinner hand details relayed by Natalie Teh and Aleksandar Tomovic:
Denys Shafikov returned from the dinner break with a big stack and Eric Sfez was cut down from his peak of more than 130,000. According to Teh and Tomovic, it was a four-bet pot with an open raise, the three-bet of Sfez on the button and the squeeze of Shafikov in the small blind. Only Sfez called and Shafikov bet 5,000 on a queen-high flop, before check-calling 10,000 on a turn.
Shafikov check-shoved a low blank river for 35,000 and Sfez, who had bet 30,000, folded to forfeit the massive pot.
Just now, Sfez clashed with Ying Tang, who four-bet to 8,000 preflop. Sfez called and Tang continued for 6,000 on the flop, Sfez came along to see the turn. Tang bet 14,000 and Sfez folded.
Dominik Nitsche and Sam Greenwood are back in the fray after taking a stab at Day 1a yesterday but failing to progress. Fellow high-roller Mikita Badziakouski has taken a seat for the first time.
Picking up the action on the flop, Arvydas Merfeldas checked in the big blind and Francois Evard made it 1,600 to go. Yazan Mdanat called on the button and Merfeldas then check-raised to 5,600, which both opponents called. On the turn, Merfeldas checked and Evard bet 7,000, only Mdanat came along.
The fell on the river and Evard now bet 10,000, Mdanat called instantly and was shown by Evard. He had that beat with for trips and scooped a decent pot.
Alan Lau and Johnny Nedved were two of the four players staring at a board. Lau was first to act and he made a bet before facing a three-bet to 8,000 from Nedved. It got the other two players out of the way but Lau came along.
The turn was the and it went check-check. On the river, Lau led for 13,500, which was half of Nedved's remaining stack and he made a quick call.
Both players turned over two pair but Nedved's wasn't enough to beat Lau's . The two-time Asia Player of the Year scooped the pot and is in very good shape.
Thomas Boivin was all in and at risk for shraps and Nadir Molinari was also all in for 15,500. Evaldas Aniulis called to put both players at risk.
Thomas Boivin:
Nadir Molinari:
Evaldas Aniulis:
The flop brought a seven to put Aniulis in a huge lead, but the river was an ace to save Molinari's tournament. Boivin made a straight on the turn and went to just 1,000 in chips.
