Panetti Eliminated by Razavi

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Play at the outer tables has hit a lull over the past level, but an all-in and a call at table 5 livened things up. After a 26,000 button raise from Melika Razavi, Christophe Panetti three-bet shoved 155,000 from the small blind. Razavi came along with a quick call.

Christophe Panetti: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Melika Razavi: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Panetti went from needing the eights to the tens on a {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, but they remained hidden on the {2-Spades} turn and {3-Clubs} river.

Sammartino Moves Up a Little, Maskill Moves Down

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jack Maskill has dropped somewhat since players returned from their dinner break. He just lost a little of that in a hand against Dario Sammartino. Sammartino had been the preflop aggressor, opening to 26,000 in early position and Makill had called behind on the button.

Sammartino continued on the {j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop and Maskill called 25,000. The turn was the {5-Spades}, bring out a possible flush and the action went check-check. A fourth spade, the {4-Spades} fell on the river and Sammartino bet 70,000, which got a quick fold from Maskill. He now has around half of the average.

Kovalevskiy Eliminated by Razavi

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Serafim Kovalevskiy has been short for a while and he moved his last 133,000 (11 big blinds) in with {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} but ran into Melika Razavi's {k-Spades}{j-Spades}. The {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board held for the preflop favorite and Razavi moves up the counts as Kovalevskiy busts in 41st place. That also means the table is broken, with only five tables in play now.
