Boris Kitov Eliminated in 8th Place (RUB1,183,700)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Boris Kitov
Boris Kitov

The action started with a raise to 180,000 from under the gun by Yi Ye and Boris Kitov elected to call in the big blind. On a {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Kitov checked and Ye made it 140,000 to go. Kitov check-raised to 325,000 and that sent Ye into the think tank. He riffled his chips for more than a minute and splashed in a reraise to 640,000 eventually.

Now it was Kitov that needed time for the next move and he had some 1,070,000 behind after his raise. Ye called the clock on him after two minutes and before a countdown was given, Kitov moved all in, the snap-call of Ye followed.

Boris Kitov: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Yi Ye: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} river let the kicker play in favor of Ye and Kitov was eliminated in 8th place for RUB1,183,700. All remaining seven players then agreed on a short break with 66 minutes left in the level.

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han three-bet to 315,000, Skhulukhiya came along and they headed to the {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Skhulukhiya checked and called a small bet of 125,000 before both then opted to check down the {10-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Skhulukhiya tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Han mucked his {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} with plenty of frustration.
