Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Arsenii Karmatckii
Arsenii Karmatckii

Anton Yakuba opened to 24,000 from under the gun and Arsenii Karmatckii shoved all in for 48,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Yakuba called, wishing his opponent good luck in the process.

Anton Yakuba: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Arsenii Karmatckii: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

It was a coin flip and Yakuba held on to the lead through the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Karmatckii picked up a straight draw to go with his two overcards but the {5-Spades} on the turn and the {3-Diamonds} on the river sent Karmatckii home in eighth place.

Matthias Eibinger: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Tsugunari Toma: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Eibinger was slightly ahead but the board ran out {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to give Toma two pair on the turn to burst the bubble.

Ip Flops a Set

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Derek Ip limped in from the hijack and both Adrian Mateos and Arsenii Karmatckii came along from the blinds. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {k-Hearts} on the turn.

The blinds checked again and Ip bet the minimum of 10,000. Mateos called and Karmatckii folded. The river was the {2-Spades} and Mateos checked again. Ip fired out the same bet of 10,000 and Mateos check-raised to 42,000 this time.

Ip used up a time extension before flicking in a call. Mateos showed {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for top pair but Ip held {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a set of eights to scoop the pot.

Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Anton Yakuba completed his small blind and Daniel Dvoress opted to check his big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Yakuba bet 10,000 and Dvoress raised to 30,000 which Yakuba called.

The turn brought them the {8-Clubs}, Yakuba checked and Dvoress bet 80,000. Yakuba tanked, used a time bank card, and then shoved with the bigger stack. Dvoress snap-called for the 300,000 or so he had behind.

Daniel Dvoress: {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Anton Yakuba: {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Dvoress had flopped two pair but Yakuba had turned the higher two pair.

The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds} to send Dvoress to the rail in tenth place.

The nine remaining players will be redrawn onto the final table for the money bubble.

Troyanovskiy Makes a Big Fold

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Bertrand Grospellier raised to 16,000 in the cutoff and was called by Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Orpen Kisacikoglu in the blinds. The flop came {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy led out for 25,000. Kisacikoglu folded but Grospellier called to see the {2-Hearts} on the turn.

Both players tapped the table and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board. Troyanovskiy fired out another 25,000 only to have Grospellier raised to 80,000. Troyanovskiy went into the tank for a couple of minutes, using up three of his time extensions before folding {a-Spades}{j-Spades} face up. Grospellier did him a favor and showed {5-Spades} for a straight in the last hand before the break.

Troyanovskiy Flops a Pair of Nines

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy limped in from the cutoff and Orpen Kisacikoglu did the same on the button. Tsugunari Toma completed his small blind and Bertrand Grospellier opted to check in the big blind.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Toma and Grospellier quickly checked and Troyanovskiy bet 25,000. Kisacikoglu made the call while Toma and Grospellier folded.

They both checked through the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river. Troyanovskiy tabled {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the pair of nines and that was enough to pick up the pot.
