Chilaud Doubles Through Wetter

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Maxime Chilaud was all in for 23,200 and Christoph Wetter looked him up.

Chilaud flipped over the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Wetter had a flush draw with the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. The {7-Spades} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river kept Chilaud in the lead and he doubled in the seat that formerly belonged to George Chiriac.

Reichard Empties the Clip

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Josh Reichard saw action folded to him on the button and opened to 2,000. The big blind defended and the two saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The big blind checked and Reichard made a continuation-bet of 2,000. The big blind called.

The turn was {7-Spades} and the big blind checked again. Reichard continued, betting another 6,500. His opponent went into the tank for over a half-minute and then put out chips to call.

The river fell {2-Spades} and the big blind checked to Reichard once more. Reichard fired his final shell, shoving for the last 16,500 in his stack. His opponent let his hand go without much thought and the pot was shipped Reichard's way.

Grecu Doubles in Dramatic Fashion

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was heads up before the flop with the player on the button having 8,000 in front of him and a decision to make for even more chips as Virgil Grecu was all in from the big blind. The player took about a minute to think and then made the call.

Virgil Grecu: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

A queen came in the window as the flop fell {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} to give the player on the button one of his needed three outs to pull ahead. The turn {3-Hearts} left Grecu with one chance to double, and he knew the odds were against him as he began to push his seat back to get ready to stand up and leave the tournament area. He didn't get far, however, as the river fell {k-Diamonds} before he could scoot back much at all, giving him two pair, kings and threes, to earn the double over his opponent's queens up.

Jurga Gives Opponent the Pile

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ladislav Jurga saw action folded to him in the hijack and pumped it up to 3,000. The player on the button threw in a three-bet to 8,500 and action made its way back to Jurga, who asked for an estimate of what the player had behind. The player cut out several stacks to show a visible 14,900 behind.

A few moments later, Jurga slid forward a stack of T5,000 chips that was more than enough to put his opponent all in. The player on the button decided that this wasn't his time and quickly sent his cards to the muck.
